it weights 820 grams with small nozzle attached. But it's very comfortable to hold and operate.

Can you take the the front pinky plastic protector off the front?

No, the pink plastic bit is what holds all of the attachments in place.

Has it got a uk plug on it ?

Yes, it has a UK plug. Also, it's the best heated brush I've ever used.

Is it stopping when it’s hot while using?

I've not experienced that but it's probably a cut out switch/element in the dryer when it gets over heated. Like most heating products, this should resolve itself once the dryer has cooled down for a short while. Check that there isn't any dust or fluff build up around the motor vent??
