These earrings are just OKAY. I wouldn't buy them for anyone for a gift after seeing them in person. I purchased them for myself because I wear stud earrings only and I'm allergic to silver and nickel, so I can only wear gold, white gold, or platinum (I know, pity, huh? That's why I look for good bargains on earrings).These earrings are pretty large for a ball-type earring (7mm). The back is TERRIBLE. It is so fat that it can barely stay on your ear (and I have fairly skinny earlobes). Additionally, they are clear....so they get lost so easily! I have one that I'm yet to recover in my room somewhere. As for now, when I wear these earrings, I just use the backs from another earring.The bonus for these earrings is they are pretty low priced for a 14k earring. However, when you feel them, you can feel how cheaply made they are. I have much, much smaller (3mm, 4 mm, and 5mm) 14k gold ball earrings from Macys that feel sturdier and better made than these. (Side note: My husband picked these ones up and asked if they were plastic!)I guess you would ask why I even gave them a 3-star review if the review sounds so negative? Well, when you wear the earrings they look nice and no one will be up against your earlobe examining them; nor will anyone be picking them up and handling them to see they are cheap. They are 14k gold because I haven't had any allergies to the metal, so there's a plus!Overall, I definitely wouldn't pay more for these earrings than I did (I think they were $35.00 when I purchased them), and I wouldn't buy them for a gift for someone else, BUT they aren't too terrible if you're just looking for something to wear occasionally and can replace the backings when you lose them in the carpet.

I really like this purchase. I had been looking for some basic gold studs that weren't too small or too big. These fit the bill. I do agree with other reviewers however when it comes to the silicone earring backs. One night sleeping in them and my earrings were almost lost for good. The back on one was lost completely and the back on the other was recovered after careful inspection of my bed sheets. I ended up replacing the lost back with an earring back from a pair that I no longer wear. If you do decide to purchase, I would recommend either being careful of when you wear them or purchase some separate spare backs to keep in your jewelry box just in case.

After reading several of the reviews I took a chance and bought these earrings. They were perfect for what I needed, a simple pair of gold studs. The earrings themselves are fantastic, the backings however leave a little bit to be desired. The don’t feel very secure when you put them on, but if you have another pair of earrings with a more supportive backing you can easily solve that issues. Other than the backing issue it’s a no brainer to buy these at such a reasonable price.

I chose a four star rating because of the quality of these earrings. However, the pushbacks leave a lot to be desired. This is the second pair of these earrings that I have ordered because the Pushbacks on the first pair were very loose and fell off. I therefore, lost one of those original earrings. I have replaced the new earrings with my own pushbacks. The seller was prompt and on time with its delivery promise.

When my wonderful lady asked for simple gold ball bearings for Christmas I thought it would be a simple task to find what she measured. I then spent several days trying with no luck. I then searched on the internet and found these. I normally do not buy on the internet but time was getting short so I made the purchase.They came faster than expected and they were the right size. My gift was seeing her lite up brighter than our tree. A great gift and a shopping trip that made it all worthwhile.

I like the color but i was looking for some big ball earrings. you really have to make sure you pic a good size!, the backs really do suck tho you have to be careful or you'll loose them

Loved the earrings! They were exactly what I ordered. However....the backings that hold them on were loose and I lost one the first week. So.....obviously they need better backings.

Beautiful and perfect size unfortunately, my dog ate one and even though he is just a puppy, it got totally shattered so not so sure about the quality though ...
