Surprising capability for such a low priced, lightweight hoist. I bought it to pull a B&W fifth wheel hitch out of my Ram 3500 during the offseason, and it does a great job. It came with a wall mount that was perfect to mount on the inside of the garage door header, and I simply back under the hitch and lift it out. I do have to hook the cable end to the wall mount and the main unit up to the hitch, so it's upside down from traditional hook up, but it doesn't know it's upside down! It has a wireless and wired remote as well as controls on the unit itself. There are 'things' that are not perfect with this unit for example stickers pealing off, wireless remote battery access panel was shipped installed upside down making it difficult to open, but neither of which limits its functionality and a little screwdriver and patience fixed the remote battery access panel. It is a bit loud and beware the speed that it moves when you first use it. For the price those minor issues are a nit. I would definitely buy this unit again.

Used this to lift our elevator up and down while we were moving out. Worked absolutely great.

After installing a pull down ladder in the attic and adding flooring I wore myself out carrying numerous heavy things up into the attic for storage. I then decided to buy an electric winch which I should have done in the first place. After wiring an electrical box in the attic I placed this winch above the opening and began using it to lift bulky heavy items. It kind of looks crudely made (China) but it works great and have no complaints. The one thing that is a pain in the butt is needing a counterweight (water filled jerry can) while lowering the hook without load because if you don't do this the cable could come unraveled.

I used this to install a hot water heater in my attic by myself and just the single use alone was worth the money. I have also used this in the garage to hoist boat motors on and off as well. Very handy to own.

We bought the winch to move boxes from the ground floor of our home into our attic space. It has performed exceptionally well. The boxes are very heavy and we were able to stack 2 to 3 at a time on the winch to hoist it all into the attic.

I had planned to use this lift to lift a 350 pound 5th wheel hitch out of my truck bed. Currently using a manual hand pulley. After unpacking the unit it was obvious this was a lower tier Chinese product. The poor packaging, the poor finish on the product and the English translation in the owners manual was some of the poorest I have seen and I should add my garage is filled with Chinese made tools. However, this was not the show stopper for me and only adding this to set expectations for other shoppers. The unit I received appeared to have been repackaged. That or the styrofoam packing had been beat up during shipping. After reading the owners manual (twice I will add) I plugged it in on my bench and briefly tested the 3 way feature. The switch on the unit worked. The plug in cable switch worked. The remote control did not work. BTW, as other reviews noted this system does not come with a remote battery. Spend $130 and it doesn’t come with a $5 battery???? Hey, It was a first for me. Also, it uses a non standard battery so be prepared to make a trip to a store that carries this size. My overall experience with the unit was poor. The system is much loader than an 10K Warn winch for sure. After going to the effort of getting the odd battery and then having the remote not work was the final straw. BTW no where in the owners manual does it even tell you what size battery you need. Take the remote to batteries plus and they can help. Additional thoughts. They sell 2way systems for $15 less than this one and other 3 way systems are $15more. I will spend the extra $15 and buy a more recognizable brand name.

We use it for deer hanger. It van hold a lot of weight (2deer) good quality for good price and enough power to pull them up out of truck.

I was skeptical, at first, but this product exceeded my expectations on durability. Slow and steady is perfect vs others i have seen in person... this fit the BILL PERFECTLY at a PRICE-POINT that is far less than name-brand competitors. Yes it is CHINESE MADE, but it is built perfectly... I recommend.... Fast Delivery, easy out of the box instructions and I was up and running in minutes... (I built a Support Structure to attach this to in my Vaulted Roof Access in the Garage (14ft to the entrance in the ceiling), the Device was set at the lowest point of 10ft past that....
