These are insane! Two weeks ago I did one trap with sugar water and one with beer. The sugar water didn’t attract any insects. The beer trap is packed with them! It’s actually really disgusting - just the massive number of bugs. I can’t even tell if they’re wasps, flies, etc. there are just so many. I won’t try to clean it out and reuse, just tossing it out and ordering another set. I have noticed fewer wasps and flies on our deck, which was the goal.

This catcher did not work at all until I filled the water level right at the bottom of the insect entrance of the catcher. The insects come right in an fall in immediately.They drown shortly thereafter. You have to keep the fluid level up or wasps will just fly in and fly right out. You don't have to do any crazy sweet fluid, they will just fall in if you keep the level high enough. I've caught wasps, mosquitos, some bees (which I don't want to harm) every week since I purchased it. Works well.

Wasn't sure how far to fill it up but I used Kaytee Hummingbird sweetened water mix (also from Amazon) and within four days, I had about 25 wasps dead in it. This is incredible. It absolutely works! Best purchase ever.

These didn't work and didn't catch anything. Tried them out for a few weeks. I used beer, orange juice, sugar water type mixture as suggested by other users. Nothing at all...I even placed there by a high traffic wasp area... They just ignored it. I ended up having to use a pesticide spray/repellent that took care of the problem in a day...for the same price I might add.

I tried using beer like it recommends but didn't catch a single yellow jacket or wasp. I've been using wine I don't like and that's been catching them after a couple days. I did catch a lot of earwigs when I put the one with beer on the ground. I have better luck with disposable traps but these catch a few.

This product honestly sucked. I used these and the standard tall yellow ones this summer, and these ones only trapped about a a tenth of what the others one caught. I also used the same liquid attractant in both types of catchers. I was very disappointed.

Purchased a few, put in different locations and didn't catch one wasp or bee. Lots of little tiny black bugs / nats. Wasp were by mail box & front porch so they stayed. Left out for over a week, added sugar water and then honey. Gave up.

Fairly good product. Bought two and both lids are not threaded as good as one would like. Followed instructions plus tossed in small piece of chicken and trapped quite a few yellow jackets.
