Works great! Just pull it slowly!
Bought this after having roof replaced. Roofer left me 2 to use for a few days after completing. Picked this one for use as a backup. Not commercial grade, but picks up nails. Pull it and don’t push it for best results.

Well worth the money.
I used it for about 15 minutes around the house after getting a new roof and picked up 12 nails and many staples. This is after the roofers combed the same area with their magnets. I'll bet I can do the same thing again tomorrow. This inexpensive wheeled magnet has already paid for itself. Yes, it could be built sturdier but then it would cost more money and since it's a one time use I could see no reason to spend more. This one is well worth it's price.

The magnets are reasonably strong but remains to be tested in tall grass (3 1/2 to 4")
So far it looks pretty solid. 4.5 stars until I get to use it after the roof gets replaced. The handle is definitely far too short unless you are less than 5 feet tall yourself. I extended mine by removing the plastic handle and pushing a slightly smaller diameter piece of metal shaft from an old broom that fit snuggly and perfectly. It is now 5 1/2 feet tall! The magnetic tray isn't part of the retrieval system. It's simply a place to put retrieved ferrous metal. Don't try looking for lost coins, gold, non-metallic jewelry as one reviewer mistakenly thought. The strength of the magnet seems pretty good but if you drag it through grass that is tall the retrieved metal might just pull off. Pulling rather than pushing might solve that, but it remains to be seen. The metallic tray might be useful for retrieving some fishing gear lying in the bottom of your favorite lake if you fashion a few nylon chords in strategically placed holes on each end. So far, I'll give it a solid 4 1/2 stars for being sturdy and functional. It readily attracts the washers and bolts used to attach the solid plastic wheels. Price point was great and I appreciated that one reviewers comments that the $50 version magnets were definitely no stronger than these $22 magnets.

Works great
Works great. Even after the roofing company cleaned up around the yard, I used the magnet and rolled it over the grass and flower beds and it picked up many nails and screws

It Works But I'm Wondering How Durable It Will Be
I haven't written a review in a while but I got tickled with the instructions as I assembled it. First, I screwed in the handle in without reading the other side of the bar. Naturally, I got it wrong, but not hard, undoing and redoing. What difference does it make, which side? There are 4 washers. The package contents/parts doesn't mention them. This same page of the assembly instructions says there are 2 x screws. 2 screws? I would call them bolts, and I assume one washer goes on one side of the wheel, and the other washer on the other side of the wheel, on the screw, I think is a bolt. The function of the washers, I'm wondering. I don't know.More seriously and of more concern to me, I'm not sure the handle will hold up. I tried to roll the sweeper uphill through grass, and found it works a lot better dragging it instead of pushing through grass. The rubber part and the end of the handle I can't get to stay on, so I may try glueing it. But my main concern is that this handle is made of thin metal.I think this tool will work for me if I am careful with it.

Smaller than expected and is just "okay"
This item is smaller than expected and the magnetic quality is just "okay." I bought this for my garage to be able to pick up small metallic items that I dropped and blends into the epoxied floor. I found this would pick up general items, but did not have the strength to pick up items that may have fallen into the relief cuts of the concrete.
