The description says it is 4xx series stainless, which is a grade of stainless that resists rust, though less well than the more common 304 stainless, but Is harder and springier than 304. 4xx stainless, unlike 304, is magnetic. These are magnetic and also resist rust and seem harder than 304, so I’m inclined to believe they are the real deal. They are a bit thinner than I expected but work very well for shrimp. They are plenty sharp. They are the right size for a full sized gas grill. The carrying case is a nice, if unnecessary add on. I’m really impressed for the $10 price.* just adding on; these have been through several dishwasher trips with no rust. It wasn’t clear in my first post but 4xx series stainless is preferable to the more common 300 series for this application, but is typically a much more expensive grade of steel. These are really good quality and a steal.

Thin skewers, so I use two at a time to keep food from spinning around while grilling.Very nice quality and they don't burn up like bamboo.The case is super for keeping them organized and clean between uses.Recommended by this backyard griller.

Roasted veggies were tough because the skewers often broke mushrooms or tore through squash. These thin sharp metal skewers are perfect for mushrooms (use parallel skewers for large shrooms), great for roasted Okra or other small veggies. They are also easy to clean.

Finally, something that doesn't rust!! Perfect! Also purchased them for Christmas gifts!

I have had skewers like these for years, and I finally needed to replace the ones that were lost. They heat evenly, are reliable and easy to clean.

These skewers are high quality stainless steel and are a length that fits nicely on the grill. Nice crisp flat skewer that keeps food from rotating when it is turned. They are also esthetically pleasing so I can serve food on the skewers if I choose to.
