Any electrical mechanical person can do it.
This is a very nifty little addition to my sailboat. I used it to implement the addition of refrigeration to the existing built-in icebox. I installed the evaporator plate in the icebox routed the capillary/ feed tube to the unit, and sweated the connections with stay brite low temp. melt silver solder. A friend of mine in the business pressure tested and evacuated the system. I installed my own R12 to 134a converter. And s-l-o-w-ly brought it up to automotive specs. It has registered a low of 26° F thus far. I would have preferred the black control box to the red one though.

Used it to replace my failed sail boat fridge compressor unit. Wasn't an exact replacement but I'm cheap and so far it seems to be working. Didn't come with a single piece of paper or a manual however so had to track that down online to understand how to reprogram the screen but my fridge is cold for $200ish so can't really complain

Nice unit
Actually a nice unit. Installed in sailboat. Wires should be longer for connections. One foot is a joke. Works well nice design. Low power consumption. Less than 4 amps on eco at 12 volts.
