Pros: - Unbeatable price. This set is less than half of what you'd pay for a smaller outdoor set from Costco or other major retailers. - Great customer service. One of the parts was defective (a hole was in the wrong place). I contacted customer service through Amazon, provided them a picture, and they offered to ship a replacement part the next day. - Clear instructions and easy assembly. I do recommend having a cordless screwdriver with a hex bit as it makes things go quite a lot faster, especially in some areas where it's hard to fit a hex wrench in the space. - Solid construction and heft. Heavy enough that it won't just slide around in the wind; light enough to be easily movable. - Aesthetics. Both the cushion covers and the furniture itself look high-end. Cons: - Cushions are not comfortable. The bottom cushions are much too firm; it's like sitting on a stack of cardboard. Also, the back cushions are too thin, so you can really feel the back of the couch sticking out into your lower back. I happened to have an old 3" memory foam mattress topper, so I cut a square from that and put it on top, and that solved both issues, but now I need to find or make 6" cushion covers to fit it. I thought about taking off two stars for this (it's pretty bad) but decided that for the price and the customer service to give it 4 stars instead. Update: I've had this now for a few months and I'm upgrading it to 5 stars! The bottom cushions have broken in after being outside for a little bit, and the back cushions seem to have plumped up a bit too (or maybe I've just learned to slouch in a more comfortable position). Also, it's rained a few times and the covers have been pretty incredible in their water resistance: there was standing water on two of the cushions, but I soaked up the puddle, wiped off the rest, and the underlying cushion was immediately usable -- no water seeped through at all.

When looking for an outdoor furniture set I was looking for one with a fire place and a larger couch set up that was modular enough to move things around, and this was what I wanted. This set is easy to understand how to build. It is about 4 large boxes. I enjoy building furniture and legos, but this took me about 3 days to build everything at a comfortable rate on my own. The great thing is that each piece of furniture is lite weight. In terms of quality it hit and went a bit higher than my expectations. The wicker chairs are well made and there are plenty of spare parts if you need them later for nuts, screws and bolts. One purchase you will want to consider is a 230 Gallon outdoor storage unit as the seat cushions and pillows take up a lot of space, unless this set is under a cover. However these cushions and pillows are so comfortable compared to other outdoor sets that I have slept on this when it was nice out. The fire place works well up to temperatures in the mid 50’s and up (fahrenheit), but once you go lower unless you are in an enclosed space it will get cold. Not to say the fire place isn’t good, it works well from the start but don’t expect it to fend off extreme cold. Would recommend this set for anyone that wants one that fills a space well, looks good and worth the month you spend.

You’ll earn your merit badge assembling this set. Is not that it’s hard to do, there’s just quite a lot of it to be assembled. The instructions are pretty good and they provided a generous amount of spare hardware. I only had two problems. The wicker material completely covered on of the holes. I made a small cut with a box cutter and inserted the screw. In most places the screw passes through the frame and is secured with a nut. In a few places the nut is made into the frame. One off my pieces was missing that nut but it happened to be in an area where I could use a longer screw and add a nut. I’m 250lbs and the furniture feels sturdy and comfortable. I feel like we’ll be replacing the cushions with better quality a few months. The fire table is nice. Was surprised to learn that I can’t easily close the door with a standard 25lb cylinder. It can be done, but you have to hold the cylinder at an angle until the door is almost closed. Our fire table wouldn’t light so I contacted the seller via Amazon. They replied promptly and asked if I had installed the battery. There’s no mention of a battery anywhere in the instructions. Not even in the troubleshooting. I looked more closely at the control panel and found “AAA” stenciled beneath the igniter button. After installing the battery the table lit on the first attempt and looks great. For reference, our deck is 16x16 and the furniture filled most of it.

It is a beautiful set, especially for the price. However, it is not as easy to put together as you think. The directions are not great. Also, the straps to put the cushions in place don’t really reach so you’ll have to buy Velcro and make sure it’s outdoor Velcro. Make sure you have a small gas tank as a normal size one will not fit for the fire pit! It is comfortable though, but it took all day to put together!
