I took this holder on a 5-hour flight and it worked well. It's steady and bends into a trifold well. It's much steadier when resting on the seat tray than when hanging it on the seat in front of me. When the flight is turbulent, my iphone was moving around a bit when the holder was in the hanging position. Just needed to tighten the holder a little so my phone doesn't tumble off.

This is a really great product! Very moldable to fit any product or surface. Works best on tables to hold your mobile phone. Only issue I had was I tried it on my airline seat, and did not hold up unless on seat tray.

I got these as stocking stuffers for myself and my family. We are going on a two week trip to Europe this year, so thought they would be useful. It is super light and can bend in many different ways. I can definitely see that it could be useful as pictured on a plane. It's also really nice that it folds flat. That and the light weight will make it easy to bring on a trip. My only concern is how it will hold up after lots of bending and flattening, but for the price, it doesn't need to last an extensive amount of time to be worth it.

OK when I first got this I wasn't to impressed. I needed it to hold my cell phone so I can watch while on my treadmill however it wrapped around my treadmill screen really well and my phone is secure in it. I'm super happy with it and would highly recommend. It's stronger than it looks and does a great job! I highly recommend

This has been a good product for holding up our phones and ipads on other surfaces, but the image showing it fitting within the tray table doesn't seem appropriate. We've tried several times and the material is too thick, but is a great stand and very flexible for setting up on other surfaces.

Very ingenious solution for holding my phone while watching movies on an airplane during travel. I love that it's completely adjustable and then returns to flat for storage in my bag. The only issue is that your phone can bounce out in descent turbulence but it's pretty solvable by creating some tension around 2 edges of your phone by adjusting the holder or even possibly by adding a rubber band.

Got this for a recent holiday. Works good to prop up a phone or tablet. But when I tried to hook it on the tray table, the table kept popping open. It's too thick for that.
