Product Description The new QuiqLite X is the world's smallest, brightest, concealed USB rechargeable hands free light source for your shirt pocket. The QuiqLite X combines all the features found in the rest of the QuiqLite family (like a weather resistant housing, 180 degree adjustable light arm, ten minute auto-shut off, safety strobe, 360 degree rotating removable magnetic clip, and anti glare LED visor) with an output of 20-150 lumens from its two white LEDs (20-75 lumens from white/red or white/blue LED combinations). Add the convenience of micro USB rechargeablity and dual switch technology (for independent LED activation) and you have complete hands free control so you can focus on the real task at hand instead worrying about where you're aiming your flashlight. Operation: 1st push activates single Red L.E.D. (10 minute auto-off timer). 2nd push within 2 seconds of 1st push turns off the red LED and turns on white L.E.D. (10 minute auto-off timer). 3rd push turns all L.E.D.s off. Tactical Mode: If 2nd push is delayed past 2 seconds of 1st push, QuiqLiteX will auto shift into Tactical Mode turning off the Red LED without activating the White LED. X Super Bright Mode: 1st push of X button located on the top of the product will increase brightness from 20 up to 75 lumens(white LED) 2nd push will dim light back down to 20 lumens. Strobe Function: Press & hold main power button down for 2 seconds to activate Safety Strobe (no auto-off timer). Press button again to turn off strobe.

HORRENDOUS PRODUCT!
Despite the many other good reviews, my experience with this product has been shockingly poor.1) The clip is extremely weak. I clip this on to my blazer, and it falls right off. It has absolutely no strength in gripping, in staying closed, and even the magnets are pretty weak. For such a lightweight product, I would of thought that the clip would have been great, considering my body camera which is over three times the weight can stay on my blazer all night... seems like they cheaped out.2) The clip is too long/big. For those of us that would wear this product with the clip off to 90 degrees, for example on a tie or blazer instead of a shirt pocket, the clip is WAY to big and looks stupid next to the size of the light. Again, comparing to the body camera, the clip for that is only 3cm. The clip for my radio microphone is 1.5cm. The clip for this light is 8cm! It sticks out a sore thumb. A smaller clip would have worked wonders.3) The button is too flush with the body, making the button difficult to feel/find, especially when it's in a shirt pocket. A button that pokes out a bit more from the body, is round, or has braille lumps on it would have definitely of been better. It also needs quite a lot of force for what should be an easy button to press... not like you'll be pressing it accidentally because it's right in front of you!4) In my unit, the "two minute tactical mode" didn't function, and no matter how long the light on was for after one press, I would have to cycle past the 2nd mode to turn it off, instead of what they claim is just a one tab job after two seconds. I find it funny how they call it tactical mode too... why can't it just be called "off"?5) Sometimes it's nice to get a boost straight away. This product doesn't allow me to turn boost on with the boost button alone; I must first turn the unit on via the main button, then press the button at the top. One of the purposes of purchasing this product is to make it easier than a torch; having to feel around and press different buttons doesn't make this any more desirable than said torch.6) A minor point, however many sellers advertise the battery as replaceable once you've recharged it too many times... but nowhere are they saying what kind of battery it is, nor are they selling the batteries... which means when it's used up, most people will buy the product again.7) While this listing doesn't have them here, for the White/UV variant of this light, it's shockingly poor. The UV light wavelength is far too high, so it's useless for things like checking ID or banknotes, because it doesn't activate/reflect from the UV properly. You'll have to bring the ID/note close the light and move it around until you can make a guess; while not perfect, the CompactPro line of UV lights shows the UV light like bright Christmas lights from well over a foot away; on a UK driving license you can see all of the different purple, blue, green and other colours of the UV materials; the UV version of this light simply isn't up to the job. I replaced this with the White/White, and all of the same issues above still apply.8) The USB port doesn't have a cover; surely a bit of water in that might cause damage, especially if you go and charge it straight after?9) When pressing boost after the first white LED activation, it only boosts the first LED. You have to press the main on button again for the boost to also light up the second white LED. Surely if I wanted to boost the light, I would want to boost both? It's another process to get to full brightness...10) Overpriced! This product is two LED's, a battery, and some plastic casing! For almost £30 at the time of this review, I find that shocking for a product so basic, that doesn't even perform that well. The issues with the clip are the biggest, and at £30, I'm not willing to invest in another form of clip or mount. It's nice enough that we get a free big of plastic (the flare, which is another story altogether...) with it.Honestly? I'm extremely disappointed and will be returning this product.Instead of this, I recommend purchasing a reputable regular torch - plenty of which you can get rechargable - and use a Klickfast system. Not only the Klickfast system stable, rugged, and will actually stay on you, but there are a bunch of mounting places/mounts/opportunities, and not to mention that many uniforms, load-bearing vests and other kit already comes with Klickfast mounts on them - at least in the UK. You can still rotate the torch on a Klickfast dock/mount, remove it for full functionality, and you can swap it out for any other Klickfast enabled item at any time... much better than this light, that's for sure. Oh and don't forget, if you're a bit "rounder" and not a skinny twig, putting this on your shirt pocket means the light goes off to your left side instead of straight ahead; this was my only choice of use considering the mount issues. For the price, no. I wouldn't pay more than £10 for this. Poor quality, and I will be using a regular rechargeable torch with Klickfast as I recommended in the paragraph above.

Fantastic Torch, Would Definitely Recommend.
Fantastic Torch, Super Bright, Long Battery Life. Working in the Emergency Services I always have this clipped to by shirt. It doesn't get in the way and is there for any situation, that at the touch of a button, might need a little bit of extra light. The rechargeable feature of this torch sets it apart from others, no need to replace the batteries as it takes just a couple of hours on charge, every now and then, via a micro USB cable and your good to go. A Great Companion for anyone in Emergency Services. Also great for anyone who would benefit from a super powerful hands free torch.

Poor design, and too fragile.
I was ready to write a 5 Star review of this product for Many reasons. The light patterns are versatile, the light levels are excellent in both red and white light modes and the battery life is excellent.Unfortunately, after only 5 shifts the concealed pocket clip has broken due to a piece of poor design. On close examination the point of failure is around the screw that secures the clip to the main body (see photo). This very small piece of plastic also forms the swivel allowing the lamp head to move and keeping it in place. It’s failure leaves the lamp head loose and flopping around.A simple design change or achange in materials used by the manufacturer, either better plastic or metal, would make this product well with its price

Much better than the Peli torch
I've been using this for about a month now and am very impressed with it. It is bright enough to make notes in the dark and I have turned it on when in the pitch black so it illuminates my path. The fact it is usb rechargeable is a massive bonus so no annoying batteries to buy or fiddly screws to lose.I was job issued the Peli light and was going to buy another one as I was tired of swapping the lights over when I switched from black to hi viz jackets. However I am so glad I discovered this one instead. It is much brighter than the Peli (9 lumens compared to 150, I didn't realise the Peli was so low either!) and being rechargeable is better. I used to change the battery on my Peli and still be annoyed it is so dim.It has 2 led bulbs with a couple of modes so one click - one bulb, 2 clicks - both bulbs, on top is a smaller button which gives it a 'light boost' and press and hold and it is on flashing mode. The light head flips up like the Peli but you have to press the button to turn it on so different from the Peli there. It is a bit bigger and a lot less cheap plasticity than the Peli. Where the Peli looks like a cheap toy with its shiny plastic case, this is more solid and well built. So it comes in 2 parts, together it has the swivel clip which I've put on my vest using an elastic band to secure it from moving around/being ripped off (I did the same with the Peli, I've lost a couple otherwise). With this base clip secured, I can still slide the light up and remove it from its base to use where needed. When removed like this, it still has a shirt clip To attach so I could use it without the base.I prefer using it all together as that way I can secure the base to my uniform and still easily remove the light to use a backup hand torch which couldn't have been done with the PeliThis light unit also has a magnetic back which I haven't used within work yet but I've tested it on metal surfaces and it sticks.Although this torch is 100x more superior than the Peli torch, brighter, more functionality, more practical and rechargeable which is its biggest asset. I bought this for approx £27 which is about £5/6 more than the Peli light but it is definitely worth it as I would probably spend that much on batteries alone (well OK the job would!).Peli lights used to be job issued until about 1-2 years ago but they have stopped now, get this instead!!
