Powering my laptop for hours was a challenge, because I work out of my personal vehicle, where I can sometimes have long waits between calls. Leaving the vehicle running or the ignition on accessory mode is not an option, so I decided to try this item out, since I already have a set of Dewalt 20v batteries. Using an inexpensive wattage meter (found on Amazon), I discovered that my laptop only draws between 5 - 25 watts of power (well under the limit of this inverter), allowing me to power my laptop for approximately 5 hours on a 5ah battery, and even longer on my 8ah batteries. The inverter informs me with beeps and by shutting off when the battery is to low (protecting the battery), upon which I can either swap batteries, or just complete my experience using the laptop battery (which at this point is still fully charged). The built-in light is also super-bright and convenient, and look forward to taking this thing camping. I also power other things using this inverter, but recommend before plugging in a new device to always check the power draw first, using an inexpensive wattage meter, to ensure power draw stays below 220 watts.

If you have many 20v DeWalt batteries, this works for low amp 120v equipment. I have battery operator speakers that play loader when then charger is plug in. On the go or power outage I got a little something.

This is a great charging unit that is compatible with my Milwaukee M18 batteries. I have already charged my phone in a pinch numerous times. Wilst in a pinch in the dark, this thing also has a gonzo LED light! If they made a larger one, I would buy it twice!

This thing's John it'll turn on the light but anything and try to put in it it just has all the new electronics just shuts off you can't override it or make it work harder it just trips. I wish I would have bought the Milwaukee one maybe it's better but this is money I wasted but I bought it for a present so it's kind of hard to take it back really they should give me a refund

Portable and powerful. Perfect for running all my lights, and charging my electronics in my ice hut. The built in cooling fan is whisper quiet, and the LED light is super bright. Great little charger!

Très pratique. Une sortie de 120volts avec une capacité de 220 watts. J'ai une de batterie 20v/60v max et ce transformateur peut faire fonctionner un chargeur de scooter. ( Je ne l'ai pas poussé à bout puisque le scooter fonctionne sur 72v mais celà peut dépanner).
