Delicious Gluten-free Treat
These are delicious, but not too salty. They are also gluten-free (as always, read the label for your particular sensitivity). Highly recommend not just this flavor, but this brand and company in general.

Threw the whole package away after first bite
These are absolutely awful. Usually a whiskey tasting note indicates a slight smokey undertone or like the product name suggests a maple accord. These legit taste like someone let a dry beef stick sit in a vat of whiskey that has sat out for 3 days at room temperature and then was like sure let’s package it up

Snack sticks don’t satisfy.
These snacks are not typical. They are more healthy, but the taste is off. They were not enjoyable.

Great quality, but the "whiskey flavor" doesn't do it for me
I'll be honest. When I ordered these, I didn't realize they were "with whiskey." For whatever reason, I saw "Vermont" more than anything and didn't even catch "Whistle Pig" either. However, that isn't going to affect my review. I have been a meat stick and jerky aficionado since I was a young'n, still sitting on my Dad's lap. I'm now a grown man and have had so many high-quality meat sticks and jerky that I am a bit of a snob when it comes to taste. These are high-quality sticks. The freshness and moisture add flavor, but I like a different taste. I wish they'd have offered the same without the "whiskey" flavor because that throws it off for me. I enjoy whiskey, but not on my meat sticks. I like the smokey meat flavor without the sweetness or edge the whiskey offers. The moisture does make the meat a bit spongey and doesn't snap when you break off a piece.I'll most likely keep these to give to guests - not many people have tried whiskey-covered meat sticks. I'm sure the flavor will be for someone, but not me.At least they're not super expensive. $17 before a current (10/29/24) 20% coupon makes them more costly than gas station beef sticks but less than a specialty store. If you're a whiskey lover, especially Whistle Pig, try these. You may love them.

There are better options
These are pretty gross. Slim Jim's are better.

Reminds me of breakfast sausages
I really like these meat sticks. Each time I rip open a package it has the faint maple smell of breakfast sausages. The flavor is very mild. I like that it's not super salty or super sweet. I keep these in my glove compartment as a nice emergency snack when I'm out driving around in the mountains, and it's been perfect for me!

Don’t bother
Disgusting. I can’t believe they make these and sell them, but hey, my loss is my dogs gain, at least the bag (and my money) won’t go to waste.
