Excellent Everyday Hankies, From Someone Who Always Carries a Hankie!
I am one of those people who carries a handkerchief with her at all times, always prepared for sinus drip or allergy symptoms. My old hankies were getting a little frayed around the edges, so I went searching for new ones.I ordered two different sets on amazon, and I'll compare them. Both work well as hankies. Not too thin, not too thick. Both wash fine in hot water. Both have edges finished so they will last a long time. These hankies, Forlisea Womens Beautiful Cotton Floral Handkerchief Wendding Party Fabric Hanky 10pcs ,are a nice size, especially if you have a cold and need that extra space! The edges are scalloped, which is pretty. One hankie at almost 12 inches square, 11 and 13/16" to be exact. The floral patterns are average, by which I mean just fine. The colors of the inner floral design are muted. The colors of the outer border are bright. Here's the part I like best about these hankies. My confession – I don't iron my hankies. (OK, I don't iron much of anything!) I wash and tumble dry the hankies. Then I hand-fold them into a rectangle. The Forlisea hankies smooth out quite nicely just by hand. I stack them in a drawer putting the newly laundered underneath the ones already in the drawer, and that flattens each hankie out a little more. I don't pretend it looks the same as an ironed hankie, but it works for me – photo of a washed and folded hankie attached. The second type of hankie I bought were Floral Embroidered Cotton Handkerchief with Lace Trim Set of 6 ... . These are a little smaller, 10 ½" square. As a hankie expert in my own mind, they work just fine. One corner has a very pretty white lace inset. Also at that same corner (only) is an embroidered flower posy. These are in different pastel colors. The quality of the cotton used for these hankies is just a little better than the Forlisea's, which means that they don't smooth out as easily if you aren't going to iron them. They still work for me. If you are looking for PRETTY hankies, these are especially pretty when they are ironed. The picture attached shows one smoothed by hand after washing.Overall, both hankies are winners for me, with the Forlisea a bit ahead just because I'm lazy.Happy Reader

Just needs a higher thread count.
These were beautiful and really nice size. I've added photos where you can see the color difference between the front and the back, which are pretty subtle, I think. They came a little stiff, but once I washed them they softened up nicely. I let them flat air dry, so ironing is not required, which is very convenient. I only wish that they'd had a higher thread count, or were a little bit thicker. If this was only for a little bit of sweat or tears, they would work perfectly, but I have allergies, which are currently having a field day thanks to California super bloom, and sometimes when I blow my nose, even when it has been double or triple folded, the gross can get through. Sorry if that was TMI.

Not soft enough for intended use
I have washed these four or five times and they're still far too stiff and scratchy to use, especially on tender facial skin. Plus, they are not as absorbent as a hankie should be. I do not believe these are 100 percent cotton -- I think there's some mix of polyester in there, maybe 60/40. If you read the listing carefully, it only says "cotton" but never mentions a percent. Another "tell" that they aren't 100 percent cotton is the fact, mentioned by many reviewers, that they don't shrink -- which cotton would, of course, especially in this price range. I can't return them, either, having washed them so often. Maybe I can make a doll quilt out of them or something? Anyway, I regret the purchase, and I suggest that you look elsewhere for something of better quality from a well-established manufacturer.

Returned
The description said 10 assorted handkerchiefs, I received 2 each of 5 assorted handkerchiefs. I needed more variety for what I am using them for. Also the colors are too garish, not as soft as they appear in the photos. Returned and purchased different handkerchiefs from a different seller.

Pretty hankies
Love them! I have always loved hankies - growing up in the 1950s it was proper to never leave the house without your hankie. Pretty colors - very feminine look - big size. Purchased for a gift to my best friend who loved them also - kept a few for myself.

They’re okay....
I bought these to keep in my purse for church. I love how they are reusable. My family and I made the decision several years ago to go as paperless as possible. We use cloth napkins and old rags in place of paper towels.I took a star off due to the fact that they are very scratchy. I’m hoping that over time they will soften.Recently my daughter had a terrible nose bleed and thankfully we had these on hand. They held up okay but they are not very absorbing. They are very pretty looking. All in all, I’m okay with their purchase since they are reusable and less waste for the environment.

Cute and Easy to Carry
I have ridiculously oily skin so I keep these handkerchiefs in my purse to help mop up the oil throughout the day. Why don’t I just use paper towels? Because I used to until the chemicals in a paper towel from a public bathroom irritated my facial skin and gave me a rash. These cotton handkerchiefs are soft, cute, and easy to carry and clean. I would have preferred being able to choose the design rather than receiving handkerchiefs in a random color though. I ended up with 6 handkerchiefs in 2 designs.

Cute and Eco Friendly
These handkerchiefs were pretty much exactly what I was expecting. They are small and thin, but perfect for mild allergies and general use. The design is printed on one side but bleeds through well to the other. They are cute and make me feel good for being more eco friendly. I have only mine dried them so I don't know how they react to the dryer, but they're holding up to multiple washes well so far.
