Great Price! You get a lot for your money
Lets start with price. No matter you choice there is a ton of value. For what is included it is very hard to find anything better. The lock and slide feature is flawless. Even with the rails loaded it is easy to remove and replace it. If you do not like the placement of a rail. You can just swap rails to a new location.Customization. There are so many options and even some color choices. You can choose blue, red, Hig Vis. Pretty much any combination of them. Having the option to choose 3 or 2 rail in 13 or 19 inch is amazing. You can even opt to have just the rails alone. Do not have every socket in a set or maybe have sizes that are not common. This is no problem for this set. Remove or slide the locking pegs. Want the rail to have 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 no worries you can do that. There are stickers to label everything once you determine what works best for you.Now for the negatives. As with anything nothing is perfect. With all the customization to make this the way that you want it comes at a cost. That cost is not really in actual dollars. Because the price is very reasonable. The real cost is your time. The options are so endless that you will spend what feel like eternity trying to determine what is best for you. Even after hours of tinkering you will find another layout that you would prefer. Great you have a layout and general idea how you will use everything. Now it is time to label. They provide a great deal of little tiny stickers to identify every torx, socket ect... That you own and have place in this. Well lets just say if you are like me. You question if you really need all these sockets ( THE ANSWER IS YES). Plan for a project because it truly is.To sum it up. Yes this is a very tedious project and very time consuming. However the outcome is worth every second that you spend on it. I am have not completely made it 100 percent yet. But the outcome so far is amazing. Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely. Even an enemy because I know they will be busy for sometime. Would I purchase again? Already planning on it. I want to thank you for taking the time to read this. Take care and have a great day.

The best socket organizer you can buy.
I have been an automotive technician for 10 years and I have 4 or 5 different types of socket organizers. The old school metal "spring" type, a few different plastic "peg" types, and I have two sets of these Ernst socket organizers. I have had them for about 4 years and they are holding up great. They are sturdy and I haven't broken any of the retainers (unlike my peg type organizers, which have quite a few broken pegs). I like the fact that they are twist-lock because they sockets don't fall off, but it isn't difficult to get them to release (unlike my spring type which feels like I need a pair of pliers to pull them free.) The organizers came with little labels, but I never used them. The one thing I did do was I bought another set of the 1/4in socket retainers. 1/4in sockets don't take up much space on the rail, so you can fit a lot more sockets on the rail. This allowed me to also put my 1/4in Torx bits and my 1/4in Allen sockets on the same rail as my 1/4in sockets. The final reason I like these organizers is that you can pull off each rail individually and carry them with you. This helps when you are grabbing some tools to bring with you and you don't want to bring the entire tray. Very Very helpful. Overall, I can confidently say that these are the best socket organizers you can buy.

Great for building a set
I bought two of these units in order to consolidate multiple sets together. I bought Red for SAE sockets and blue for Metric. I had several sets of sockets from various manufacturers. Some with sockets missing, some from here, some from there, you know how it goes. I was constantly having to go from case to case to find what I needed. And, most manufactures put them in cases on their sides and they are difficult to get out, especially the smaller sockets. Anyway, this was a great way to build a full set of sockets and have them accessible. This allows me to pull everything together in one place and not have to look through various sets to find what I need. I wanted something light weight as the sockets are heavy enough without adding a metal bar or tray like most socket holders. I was most concerned about the locking of the sockets on theses, but I have to say I'm really impressed. You simply push the socket onto the holder and give it a quarter turn. Boom, locked! You can turn this thing upside down and give it a shake and they don't come off, and removal with one hand is a breeze. I also like the fact the you can purchase extra socket holders in 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" sizes to build the set you need. Plus, if you just need your 1/4" sockets, you can pull just that bar out of the tray. While I haven't had the time to sit down and do it, each tray comes with a set of labels to mark the sizes on the holders. That's an easy way to see what's missing after doing a job. I love these. It beats the manufactures cases, or having 50 sockets dumped in a box or bag that you have to sort through to find what you need.

Perfect socket organizer.
I'm a diesel mechanic by trade. I have been on the hunt for a quality socket organizer. The things I look for are secured sockets, easy to remove sockets, compactness, labeling, looks, and price. These hit every single criteria. The twist lock feature is easy to use. I can simply not lock the sockets if I choose to for easy access. Very good fit in my toolbox. The selling feature on these is how much you can customize them. I could easily move the individual bits of each drive size around. Also being able to remove rows is a major plus. All around a great set for a reasonable price. The color is also fantastic to look at. I love the included stickers. This allows me to easily organize socket sets that skip sizes, simply move to the next label.I would like some 3/4 bits for some adapters and random large sockets, but I'm not sure if Ernst sells them.Look no further, just buy these, you won't regret it!

Good, adaptable socket organizer
I am very pleased with this organizer. Very flexible system with extra clips easily interchangeable. Had most of my sockets already stored and needed something to keep all of my duplicates in one place. This worked perfectly; bought an extra set of 3/8 clips and now have all my extra 3/8 std, metric and my 1/4" STD/Metric in one compact storage unit. Doesn't take up a lot of drawer space either. The twist lock feature can be a little finicky at first with some sockets, but it all worked out okay. Good product at a fair price.
