Very detailed set with overall high-quality parts with just a few problems
So I had built a Nifeliz set before- it was actually one of the very first non-LEGO sets that I built, and it was another vehicular set. So going into this I had a pretty good idea of what I was in for, and that assumption held up pretty well- on the whole it was a good build with high-quality parts that fit together well and good instructions.First off, part quality- there are only a few companies that I've build sets from that are pretty much on-par with LEGO as far as how the parts fit together, and this set rates pretty far up there. Nowhere is this more evident than in the base that the Jeep goes on- it uses a LOT of large plates and yet everything went together without any issues and minimal bowing of the parts when stacked (the tolerances on lower-quality parts means that they either push against each other more than they should or pull up on the large plate causing it to flex). Oddly, despite the high quality of the parts overall, there was still at least one manufacturing-error part that got through whatever QC they do (seen in the last picture). Thankfully it was still usable and hidden from view. There were also several missing parts from different bags- you can see the only one that is actually noticeable in the picture of the back of the Jeep where it is missing one of the transparent red tail light pieces. It was disappointing that for a set THIS large that they did not include a brick separator- pretty much everyone is going to need one at least once in a build this size, and not including one was just silly. The instructions were good and easy to follow. The way that the parts were separated into bags was initially a bit confusing- not only are there 'numbers' but the parts are also separated out by the step number in the instructions. This means that you're not going to have to deal with a huge number of parts at once but it does mean having to pay attention to all the numbers on the bags (of course, you could just dump all of the parts for a given number out- but that would just mean a LOT more parts to sort through). There were a few things I would have changed in the order of some of the instructions- most notably, they wait until pretty much the last step assembling the actual Jeep to put into place the connectors that hold the front and rear-ends to the main part of the frame. I would have put those much earlier so the front and rear wasn't just flopping around. Also- it it was a bit surprising that they put in all of the Technic hardware to make all the wheels turn together to simulate at 4WD but -didn't- include any real way that you could add Power Functions motors to the set to motorize it. It's neat that you can see the 'cylinders' moving when the hood is up- but it seems like a lot of work to not go the rest of the way and build it so you could add motors.Overall though- this was a fun build with a lot of nice details constructed from high quality parts- if you or someone you know is a Jeep fan, this is a great set to get.

Lots of pieces
I was expecting this to be like other model cars that you glue together. While that was not the case, this was a fun project to complete. The pieces are more Lego-like and small. The finished product is awesome.

Overall High Quality set
This set arrives in a very nice box. Immediately you know this is a gift worthy set before even opening the box. The bags are nicely numbered which I found very helpful. I tackled this build with my 7 year old Lego champ and that probably sounds young but he's been doing setts with little supervision for a few years. The main difference I found was the directions. It would have been fabulous if they included an online instruction option like Lego, but the directions were still precise and easy to follow. I was surprised the set did not include a brick separator. With a set at this price and brick count it was disappointing to have to go digging though our other sets for something so simple.

VERY cool jeep build
The Wrange (a.k.a. - Wrangler) Off Road brick set is my 9th build by Nifeliz and, I have to say, it is probably the coolest one so far!The set comes in a beautiful, very giftable, box. Inside are the manual, brick storage bins and two large bags that hold all of the smaller, numbered, bags. What I LOVE about Nifeliz builds is that their bags are numbered with the larger numbers (1-5 in this case) but then each bag has a smaller set of numbers that represent the ACTUAL steps (see my picture). Rather than opening all of the bags marked "1", you will only need to open the bags for the steps you are working on. It's a fantastic design that I wish more companies would duplicate! The bricks are all Lego compatible and go together just as easily. I had only a single misformed brick, but it wasn't so bad that it wouldn't work. There were also a good number of spare bricks left over at the end. The manual is easy to follow, colors match the bricks and it was clear where each assembly connected to the previous sections. There were a few things I didn't like, and I would probably deduct a half star if I could, but they weren't enough to drop my review down to 4 stars. The main issue is that, when you get to the end of the build and have to snap in the "struts" that connect the wheels to the steering and suspension, the manual shows that you should lay the model down on it's roof. DO NOT do that....just hold it in your hand. When it's on it's roof and I had to push down to snap the struts onto the ball pieces, I had a few different assemblies pop off! They weren't hard to replace, but holding the model in your hand while snapping them in with the other had will eliminate that problem. The end model is a VERY cool looking off road build. It looks like those displays that the off road car dealers set up in front of their dealerships. The car sits nicely on the display and can be removed to be played with if you want. I think it is a great display piece. At only $70 for a set that is almost 2000 pieces it's a great buy and you won't be disappointed!
