Does the canoes float?

don't know, haven't tried to float them

What are the rough dimensions?

11 1/4 ins long 1 1/4 high and 2 1/4 at widest dimension.

The canoes in the picture have a light blue patina to them. Do they come that way or are they completely raw wood?

Mine were raw wood.....they are quite sturdy and worked well for children to decorate and then have a race during our village's "Canoe Weekend".
