This Bourbon goes through the same 'Lincoln County' process that Jack Daniels does but unlike JD this is definitely a Bourbon rather than a Tennessee Whiskey, this makes it far more mellow when compared to other cheaper brands like Jim Beam white label.In my opinion, which I'm sure that you're interested in otherwise you wouldn't be reading this drivel, this is definitely a Jack Daniels #7 beater in every aspect; aroma, flavour & finish but it's weakness comes in a form that, how can I say it without sounding like a back street wino ? It's just so damned drinkable ! I only ever drink it neat and at 86 proof it's a solid pour, okay I've thought about adding some coke but that's as far as I ever get, I just think about it, it's just too darn good to be mixing it with anything, okay it's not the greatest bourbon available but for a cheap everyday easy drinker it's very, very hard to beat. So if you want to try something outside of JD#7 (the ol' Black Jack) or Jim Beam white label then give this a try, it won't disappoint and it certainly won't break the bank either but the only problem you will have is just how quickly you'll get through a bottle and yes, I know I do sound like a wino now, lol.

A lovely smooth bourbon, bottled at 43% there is all the flavours you'd expect like vanilla, honey with a spice on the finish - I found the finish quite short but the extra ABV really helps bring out the flavours. I didn't particularly enjoy it neat (like most bourbons) but it was great in a variety of cocktails like Old Fashioned, Whisky Sour & mint Julep as well as being great value if purchased on offer, little disappointed its a screw cap, not a cork - but thats me being fussy!Would buy again if on offer, but think i'd choose Bulleit, woodford reserve or wild turkey 101 over it

Really good drinkable bourbon that is good value for money and beats more well known and more expensive brands,smooth tast just need a bit of ice.

Better than Jack Daniels but that's about it, and to be fair that's not saying much. Quite rough on it's own, but was ok in an Old Fashioned. won't buy it again seeing as Maker Mark is about the same price and much nicer drink.

This is lovely stuff, Evan Williams, like Jack Daniel is of Welsh decent so when they say it is an old Welsh recipe, they might be right. Don’t tell the Americans though.This is very different to JD with a lovely aftertask. Give it a whirl.
