I've been using this table for about 3 weeks. The first thing that stands out to me is the battery life. With my normal use of about an hour a day for browsing, videos, and reading, a single charge can last me two weeks or more. It's one of the longest-lasting tablets I've ever owned, and I rarely have to worry about charging it. The rugged and waterproof design is another feature I really enjoy. Since it's waterproof, I can safely use it in the shower to watch videos or listen to music during long showers without worrying about accidental splashes or moisture. The 11-inch screen is bright and clear, and the tablet runs smoothly for everyday tasks. It also has plenty of storage for apps, photos, and videos. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

While it's a little early to give a 5-star review on a product I've not had for long, I like pretty much everything about it. The screen is fantastic, much nicer than the typical 1280x800 and similar on budget tablets. I set it up using my Android phone as its source, and it did not take long. I did need to make a few settings changes to get the onscreen buttons and begin placing application icons. It has lots of memory: base 6GB operating, which can be extended up to 20GB (not needed by me yet), and 256GB of storage, so I have not yet added a microSD card. The battery is huge, at 20,000 mAH. It has a big light on it, which is a unique feature, and potentially useful; a "Camping Light" application controls it. It readily connected to my wireless LAN for setup and data transfer, and to Bluetooth to connect to my phone and also to my hearing aid. The only downside is its weight, but for what you're getting, it's a fair price to pay. It does come with mounting brackets to attach a carrying strap, the strap itself, and even includes a "reasonable" (meaning you'd be inclined to keep it) screwdriver to attach those mounting brackets. It is quite rugged, and has silicone covers for its ports, so should be usable outdoors or in rough environments. So far, I haven't found anything not to like about it, considering the weight necessary to account for all it offers.

I've had quite a few tablets over the years, but the HOTWAV R9 Pro easily stands out as one of the toughest and most versatile. The build quality is excellent, it's rugged, solid, and ready for anything. The 11-inch 2K screen is bright, clear, and good to use when I’m reading, watching videos, or browsing the web. The battery life is next-level, I can easily go several days without recharging, even with regular use. Plus, the built-in camping lantern is super bright, I plan to use it the next time I take a camping trip. The cameras are surprisingly good and the Face ID unlocks quickly. It’s a little heavier than a standard tablet, which I've seen several folks complain about, but that’s a small trade-off for how much power and durability you get. Just be aware it’s not compatible with AT&T for calling if you were planning to use the SIM feature. Overall, this is a great tablet for outdoor adventures, work, or everyday heavy-duty use. Highly recommend it if you want a tablet that can actually keep up with real life!

I love this tablet its great for my work environment as i have dropped it a few times on the concrete floor, i work in a factory. Its water proof ( i have tested that our ) with lots of memory and speed. The reason it got a 4 instead of 5 is that in America the only company that is compatible with for a plan is T mobile so i have to use my phone hot spot and that takes away some flexibility as i need both devices at all times . It is heavy because of the battery but it can operate the full 12-16hr shift wirh more than 30% battery life after movies, work and charging up a cell phone . If it was compatible with other carriers i would turn in my i phone and get the rugged phone phone as well,

With an active toddler son in the house, standard tablets just don't survive the inevitable drops and spills. This rugged tablet has been an absolute tank. It is completely waterproof and drop-proof, giving me total peace of mind when he uses it for interactive learning apps. The massive 20080mAh battery is incredible—we go for days without even thinking about charging it. The 2K screen is surprisingly crisp, too. Highly recommend it for parents!

Right now, I am only using this as a reader for e-books. Hay, its winter. But I got this thing for that reason as well as running navigation apps for my jeep and planning bike routes when I am out doing my camp N bike trips around the country. So basically, running nav apps, reading books, and watching the occasional movie/show at my camp sight while being a bit bashable. I have not played much with the 64mb camera, but hopefully that will take decent photos. I could care less about the 16mb aimed at your face and not used it. The screen can get pretty bright but have not tried it in full on sun yet because you know, winter. But while reading in bed I have to turn the brightness to 0 as 100 is crazy in a dim lit room. This is a good thing and gives me hope. The thing is probably too heavy as just an e-reader but the battery does last a LONG time. Like read War and Peace a couple times LONG time. When Spring gets here, we shall see how it does. For now, I am happy. Oh, I like the screen. Decent contrast and colors and no APP bloat. I hate app bloat. The camp flashlight is stupid bright. I have no plans on using it but it a nice to have but requires you to go through a screen to turn on, that is, no external button. But it is adjustable which is needed as 100 percent is STUPID bright. I might try and use this with my drone. But between the weight of this AND the DJI controller, it will be beefy weight. So not sure about that but it would be handy for planning routes and what not. I might mess around with that in January when I plan on making some really BAD frozen creek and lake videos. It's a typical Android device. I have it connected up with my wifi in the house right now. But you know the drill if you use Android stuff. It really is just a giant fat cell phone at its heart. I think this will work out well for my needs. edit. 13 months later.... OMG, I use this thing almost every day now. Needs a new screen protector. Been on lots of adventures and survived my Dog sliding around all over the screen.... I have NO idea there but dogo claw marks on the screen protector. =/ It's had falls and been launched across my jeep when forced to hit the brakes. Ya, it is actually rugged. Many falls off the bed when I fall asleep reading which is nothing considering the other things this pour thing has had to endure. One of my better buys in the last year actually.

Haven't used it much yet so these are my first impressions. It's quite sturdy and seems like a solid product. Sturdy but heavy so mounting it as a telescope display (what I am using it for) is difficult due to thr weight. It very fast and responsive and battery is a beast! I specifically bought this model because it boosts a 2K display but I don't think that's accurate. It's quite grainy and washed out as compared to my phone. It's IPS vs Amoled but I expected a better display. OK for browsing but not for viewing HD images. I may sacrifice ruggedness for screen clarity and just go with a Samsung Amoled Tablet instead. Bettwr for my application.

Great rugged tablet with excellent battery life. Easily lasts multiple days on a single charge. The build feels strong and durable, perfect for outdoor use. El peso del equipo no es para todos, por sus prestaciones ante la resistencia que ofrece se justifica plenamente, por lo demás cumple completamente mis espectativas, muy fluido e intuitivo su manejo, la recomiendo ampliamente.

Se enciende bastante rápido y el manejo por el menú y las aplicaciones también es rápido y no se atasca. La cámara tiene una calidad de imagen bastante buena, con posibidad de hacer videos a cámara lenta que es entretenido sobre todo para los niños. Tiene posibilidad de poner tarjeta SIM, con un menú especial similar al de móvil (escritorio fácil), con todos los contactos. Para salir de ese menú al de tablet hay que ir a ajustes salir del menú, y vuelves (sería mas cómodo poner salir directamente). Hemos probado varios juegos y la aplicacion Smartick y funcionan bien, no se cuelgan. Relación calidad precio muy adecuada.

Darin eingebettet auf der rechten Seite mittig die 16 MP Frontkamera. Auf der Rückseite links oben befinden sich eine LED und zwei Kameralinsen der 64 MP Rückkamera. Außerdem gibt es einen etwa 8 cm gelben Bereich. Das ist eine sehr starke Campingleuchte. Ebenfalls auf der Rückseite befinden sich vier Schlitzschrauben. An diesen können bei Bedarf die beiden mitgelieferten Halterungen und der Tragegurt befestigt werden. Dieser hat zwei Klettverschlüsse und einen ca. 5,5 cm breiten Tragegriff. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich ein weißes Netzteil mit Eurostecker und einem Typ-C Anschluss. Das weiße Ladekabel hat eine Kabellänge von 94 cm und an beiden Enden einen Typ-C Stecker. Außerdem gibt es einen etwa 13 cm langen OTG-Kabel mit einem USB-A Stecker und einen Typ-C Stecker. Zum Anschrauben der Halterung für den Gurt gibt es einen ca. 13 cm langen Schlitzschraubendreher. Vier Ersatzschrauben sind ebenfalls beigelegt. In der gleichen Tüte wie die Ersatzschrauben befindet sich der Schlüssel für das SIM/Speicherkartenfach. Zum Einlegen von SIM oder Speicherkarten die Schublade an der Seite mit der beiliegenden SIM-Nadel öffnen. Vorher die Abdeckung aufklappen. Wahlweise zwei Simkarten oder eine Simkarte und eine micro-SD Speicherkarte einlegen. Dann das Tablet durch längeren Druck am unteren Schalter einschalten. Nun zur Ersteinrichtung dem Menü folgen: - Sprache wählen - Mobilfunkverbindung herstellen (bei Verwendung einer SIM-Karte) - WLAN Verbindung herstellen - Einrichtung (eventuell kopieren von anderem Gerät) - beim Google Konto anmelden oder ein neues Konto einrichten + Mein Fazit: Das Tablet ist sauber verarbeitet und besitzt ein sehr festes Gehäuse. Es ist wasserdicht, kann Stürze aus größerer Höhe unbeschadet überstehen und ist somit sehr gut für den Outdooreinsatz geeignet. Der Temperaturbereich liegt bei -30 bis +75°C. Der große Akku mit einer Kapazität von 20.080 mAh ermöglicht sehr lange Arbeitszeiten. Bei normaler Nutzung hält der Akku gut zwei Wochen durch. Zudem kann man mit dem Akku externe Geräte aufladen (umgekehrte Aufladefunktion). Dafür braucht man einfach nur das Typ-C Ladekabel oder das OTG-Kabel zu verwenden. Das Tablet erkennt automatisch, ob es ein Gerät aufladen soll. Allerdings hat das Tablet wegen des großen Akkus und des erhöhten Schutzes ein stattliches Gewicht von 1092 Gramm! Eine extra Schutzhülle befindet sich nicht im Lieferumfang. Dafür ist eine Schutzglasfolie bereits auf dem Display aufgeklebt und eine Ersatzfolie befindet sich im Lieferumfang. Bei Bedarf können mit dem beiliegenden Schraubendreher zwei Halterungen auf der Rückseite des Tablets angebracht werden. Zwischen diesen kann ein Klettgurt befestigt werden. Zum bequemen Halten des Tablets braucht man nun nur noch mit der Hand auf der Rückseite durch den Gurt zu fassen. Der Bildschirm ist schön hell und kann auch gut bei Tageslicht abgelesen werden. Die Farbwiedergabe ist gut. Fotos können von vorn mit 16 und hinten mit 64 MP aufgenommen werden. Eine Blitzlicht LED ist vorhanden und zusätzlich gibt es eine extrem helle Campingleuchte. Außer per WLAN kann sich das Tablet auch über 4G Mobilfunk mit dem Internet verbinden. In der SIM-Kartenschublade können wahlweise zwei Simkarten (Dual-SIM) oder eine SIM und eine Speichererweiterungskarte (micro-SD) untergebracht werden. Das Tablet verfügt über Dual Stereo Lautsprecher. Die Qualität und Lautstärke sind brauchbar. Hier spielt sicherlich eine Rolle, dass das Tablet wasserdicht sein muss. Eine Kopfhörerbuchse gibt es nicht. Daher ist es sinnvoll für eine hochwertige Wiedergabe einen Kopfhörer mit Bluetoothverbindung zu nutzen. Einen Fingerabdrucksensor gibt es leider nicht. Es ist aber möglich, das Gerät über eine Gesichtserkennung zu entsperren. Die übliche PIN geht natürlich ebenso. Als Betriebssystem wird Android 14 verwendet. Es wurde glücklicherweise darauf verzichtet, die Installation mit irgendwelchen eigenen Apps auszustatten. Einzig der Werkzeugkasten und die Campinglampe gehören wohl nicht zur Standardinstallation. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist recht minimalistisch. Sie beschränkt sich auf das Einlegen der Speicher- bzw. SIM-Karten und ein paar Grundfunktionen. Insgesamt ein sehr robustes, modernes Tablet mit langer Laufzeit für den Outdooreinsatz.
