Comtim Puppy Chew Toys, Dog Durable Teething Toys with Rope for Puppies and Small Dogs

Packing is entirely in Chinese, so I have no idea if it has chemicals that would be unsafe for my puppy. China does not have the same regulations we have for toxins in products, and the description "natural rubber" on the Amazon description doesn't mean there aren't chemicals in it as well! I love the softness of it and would most definitely had kept it if I had been able to be assured that it was safe.

This is by far our favorite “lay with mom while teething” toy for our miniature goldendoodle pup. Our vet told us that his tooth growth is a little delayed i.e. more teething. When we’re winding down, we sit on the couch and chew on this. I redirect him to this anytime he tries to chew on my fingers or clothes. He’s a seven weeks, so he definitely can’t chew threw it and hasn’t made any marks on the plastic, but his teeth are just coming in. The plastic is soft and flexible but I will feel comfortable giving this to him for a while. The rope is a good change which is part of the reason I bought this over others that were only plastic. Definitely recommend!

So I know the photo doesn't picture the item (I'm just gratuitously showing off our newest fur baby). That said, this toy is an absolute godsend! Before we bought her I went on a buying spree of several different toys. A few weeks later, all were destroyed, except this marvelous little bone/rope. Being a puppy, she had an accident in her crate one night and got poo all over the rope segment of this toy. I threw it in the wash along with her bedding, and all came clean "good as new". It's an absolute must have item in our house, and I highly recommend it!

We just adopted an 8 week, 24lb German Shepherd Chow mix and this chewy star with attached rope has been perfect for him! It is just the right size for his stage of life right now and will be helpful with his teething these next several weeks. The star is soft, flexible, and textured. He has chewed it a little and it has held up great! He has also participated in a little tug of war with the rope... and won :) I've added several pics of the toy in and out of action. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and so is my new puppy!!

This product was not what I expected. It looked cheap and poorly made. I hesitated to let my puppy play with it, but she was so excited about her new toy that I went against my gut instinct, and let her play with it. It was in pieces within 10 minutes. Thank goodness I was watching her and was able to take it away from her before she choked on the pieces.

We got new puppy from pound. She was 5 months old and is Italian Greyhound Chihuahua mix. Wanted a toy QUICK to save my fingers (could not drive because I had just had rotator cuff surgery the day before we got her). So I ordered this. She loved the rope part esp so I did buy her a 10 pc rope set later. But this is her favorite toy still besides the cordoroy monkey. She pulls super hard on the rope part and it is still in 1 pc no strings loosening so after 2 months she is still playing with it daily.

I don't normally purchase puppy/dog toys on Amazon because I like to see and feel my animals toys first. The price was right and visually the chew toy was what I needed for my new puppy. The item arrived quickly. The toy feels and looks very very cheap. Feels very rubbery. My puppy has no interest in the toy any longer. Few a couple days he played with the rope part of this toy. On the positive note, it's flexible the star part of the toy. Overall I wasn't very impressed but that is just my personal preference.

What a waste of money! My dog chewed through this in five minutes and he is a teacup poodle. He chewed the corner of the star right off. He would have swallowed it if I was not watching him closely. Cheaply made and unsafe!

Fell apart the moment it arrived. Waste of money
