I’m a very heavy sleeper and I was looking for an alarm clock that I could put on the other side of my apartment to get me out of bed in the morning. I was surprisingly pleased with this clock, and I would recommend it for heavy sleepers.The clock takes two AA batteries. It does run silent as advertised - the second hand does not tick, instead moving smoothly throughout each minute. The snooze light consists of one small bulb in the bottom righthand side of the clock - not anything too bright, but enough to help you see the time in the middle of the night. The glow-in-the-dark function is actually very impressive and stays glowing for quite a while.The alarm is a bell, not digital, and after using it for the first time I was surprised by how loud it was, even from across my apartment. One ding (pun intended) against the click is that there is no AM or PM setting - the alarm is easy to set, but you’re not going to want to enable the alarm until after the hour you’ll be waking up in the morning. In other words, if you’re waking up at 6am, you can’t set the alarm until after 6pm without it going off. Not too big of a deal for me.Overall, I love the vintage design of this clock, and it truly is quite loud and good for a heavy sleeper like myself. I would say it’s a good price and worth picking up. I will update my review if anything changes over time (again, pun intended).

It is NOT LOUD as was advertised. When it was advertised extra loud I expected some that would wake be up, but you can hardly hear the alarm. Very hard to find a decent LOUD alarm clock since they are all battery operated.

Good bedside clock! I just want a clock that is easy to see in the middle of the night. This one is perfect! It is easy to see, easy to set and keeps the time well. It has a large glow in the dark front bezel so no need to fumble for the light button. Good product!

This aqua clock is super bright and clear at night, but not too bright as to hurt the eyes. Alarm is super loud, great for deep sleepers. Love, love the bigger print for older folks, the smaller ones just don’t do it for aging eyes. Pretty silent ticking. The rounded shape is pleasing to the eye and the build quality is excellent. Pretty much perfect. Highly recommend this one.

This clock is absolutely PERFECT. It's beautiful, keeps accurate time, has easy to set knobs, and very very loud bell! The entire easy to read face is luminous, a feature I adore. It's simple to set the alarm and the alarm works wonderfully. I got it as my "backup" because sometimes my other alarm fails to wake me. This one wakes me for sure! Love it.

I needed a clock for my bedside that was NOT my phone. This works perfectly for this. It has a nice light and its large enough that its easy to tell the time immediately even with sleepy eyes. I think its attractive and its worked great so far. Highly recommended!

This battery operated clock keeps time well and the alarm is loud. Both time and alarm are easy to set. The clock face glows in the dark but is not so bright to interfere with sleep. The level of glow is based on how much light is absorbed during the day.I recommend this clock to anyone looking for a battery operated alarm clock with easy to read face that runs silently and keeps perfect time, and has a loud alarm that is easy to set.
