Wish they had this for humans.
I first found Tropicclean at a dog show. I didn't think it was going to be any good thought it was going to be like the rest of them. However the peanut butter my dog can't get enough of it and with under a week the tartar on his teeth was 85% to 90% cleaner than they've ever been within 2 weeks it's had look like it been for his teeth whitened. I would give this 10 stars.

No difference
I tried this as an alternative to another I bought but this is no different despite brushing each day the dogs teeth are no different, it has not removed any tartar from his teeth.

Dogs like it
This product is good and my dogs will drink the water if I put it in. My rescue pug had a dental with extractions so I have been diligent in cleaning her teeth. My french bulldog has also been getting his teeth brush daily since a puppy. I use this just to help for days Iโm not able to clean their teeth as well as I would like. I use along with the peanut butter flavoured gel. My frenchie loves the gel, my pug not so much.

Was worth a try, it seems to work for some..
Haven't seen much improvement in my dogs teeth.. I followed the instructions to the letter, which wasn't easy as she hates it.. Perhaps he teeth were just too far gone.. Off for a dental we go ๐

I received this yesterday for my 4 year old cavapoo who has some plaque on his front teeth. Put it on as instructed and today he has really bad diarrhoea and sickness. Absolutely gutted I brought this and its made my boy this poorly. Please bare this in mind when buying.

Our dog seems to love it. Itโs become part of our nightly routine and his teeth are so much better now.

Iโve used this for a while now and love it for my dog. You donโt have to brush using this but if your dog has some build up, Iโd use a soft brush to get that off and once itโs off you can just go back to using this without brushing. Iโm back and forth between brushing or only applying this. Depends on the day. But good stuff.

Have tried several different types of teeth cleaning products for our 2 small dachshunds with horrible results. Mainly the extreme dislike of the taste. I will say I also tried using several different brushes and finger brushes which may have contributed to their dislike as well. I took a piece of a wash rag about 2โ wide and 4โ long, wet it and wrapped it around my finger and then added this product. Dogs actually love the flavor and also the softer wet wrap I use to rub on their gums. Seems to be a winner for our pets and us.

Both of our dogs have genetic tooth issues that require regular checkups by a referral only, dental specialist. One had to have his annual Xrays and cleanings this past week. Besides inquiring about a new toothpaste I've been using, I also asked about PRODEN Plaque Off (which I haven't purchased yet, but now DEFINITELY will be๐๐ผ), and this product. If there's a tooth product on the market for cats or dogs, our Doc knows about all of them. Thats a part of her job. Needless to say, this product is in the make us humans "feel better" dept like useless water additives etc,, Ie; has very little to no tooth and gum health benefits. Pretty much just another waste of money and a psychological purchase. Yes, there might be a miniscule improvement, however under no circumstances are the before and after marketing photos in any way true for this gel. Extremely misleading, which I already figured. The Plaque Off additive is different, as it works from the inside out. My specialist couldn't say enough great things about it. Using / Providing the proper kinds of dog chews can do most of the work as well. Especially for pups that hate, or downright refuse to have their teeth brushed. Like our two! โโI was asked to bring in all chews and treats that I gave my youngest dog for our first consultation. This included deer antlers to a variety of other kinds including Greenies. Well.. The specialist swiped 98% of everything I'd brought in, into her garage can!! And then I received an education. Under NO circumstances should dogs of any breed or size receive anything that one can not make a fingernail dent into. Anything harder than a Greenie as example, has ZERO business being anywhere near our dogs mouths. As antlers as example, or items labeled "for hard chewers," are guaranteed teeth breakers. Harder doesn't equal better! Just the opposite. It's one of those things that just because we can, doesn't mean that we should. Same goes for our beloved doggos. Just because they can chew antlers, un puffed Yak Cheese, ect, does NOT mean that they should be. Our specialist sees dogs of all sizes day in and day out, that have broken a tooth or teeth, due to this. There are plenty of fantastic, SAFE chews on the market that'll still satisfy. As well as work fantastic for overall oral health too. Now, our dogs get Greenies, Pork Pizzels, Better Than Rawhide Mint Chews,Himalayan Salt Co Beef Espoghogus Sticks, and Prodent Plaque Off. ALL of which have been working brilliantly for their oral health. As not everyone will have pet insurance or access to the best of the very best dental specialists, I feel it important to freely pass forward what I've learned to my fellow pet parents whenever possible. This is one of those occasions. (My 4 ๐ rating is 4 ๐'s of wasting your money and mine). I'm disappointed, but hope this helps you and your doggo's!!๐พ :)
