My VIZIO smart tv doesn't have Bluetooth built into it, so i got this crazy idea to figure out how to get bluetooth, so I came across this nifty invention, and since it wasn't purchased, bought, or found from Best Buy (the Masters of Technology, I'm sorry not sorry haha) I was worried that this was a fake trap and wouldn't work. Needless to say, when the shipment arrived in fast timing and arrival, I was wrong and I was so happy. I live the latency, connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, works well, easy to use/ease of use, the volume control knobs and features, touch screen, just the whole cute adorable thing, qnd I'm do happy now, because my VIZIO tv now have Bluetooth when I turn this on, and I can connect to my Skullcandy Hesh EVO, Bluetooth headphones. My Optimum tv Google box, my streaming apps (Netflix, and etc) all have Bluetooth through my headphones pairing to this cool invention. My only complaint is that I have to mute the tv so that it doesn't echoes through both tv and my headphones, but that's ok, I don't mind. I'm just happy that I have Bluetooth working now, because my tv doesn't have it built-in. And my next complaint I that when my DVD player is on playing a DVD, the headphones only plays in one speaker of my headphones only. But, that's ok too.

It works well and easy to use. I like the product but I wish I had chosen a product with a remote. You must pair your headphones every time you use them by pressing the connect button on the box. It has no memory or anuto pairing and that gets annoying. I use it in my bedroom at night and to turn the box off you must physically get out of bed and turn it off, not that I'm that lazy but I really wish It had a remote.

Works as advertised with very helpful display to list status of available Bluetooth devices. Solid, uninterrupted signal over a 12 meter distance on transmit.

Pros: 1. it connects to my Philips tv and allows me to hear the tv using my earbuds. 2. you can connect two sets of earbuds. 3. It has Velcro that allows you to attach it to the back of the tv. 4. It is affordable and does its job. Cons: 1. it does not sync with the lips of the actors. 2. There is no remote so if you need to change the volume you must get up (sucks when a commercial comes on.) 3. The volume is not high unless a commercial comes on. 4. It doesn't always automatically connect. You have to go to the device behind the tv and push the toggle button in to connect it to your earbuds.

It works fine with my earphones but not with bluetooth hearing aids, seems to be an issue with Starkey and not Soomfon.

My tv doesn’t have Bluetooth built-in, but my new furniture has speakers that I can attach via Bluetooth. The furniture store had no idea what I was talking about but I found that this device allowed me to connect my TV audio to the furniture and it sounds great quick connect easy and I like it. I’m going the display on this device is nice because it lists all the Bluetooth items you can connect to and it’s just a single button once you find it hit it and you’re connected.

I have this unit hooked up to my TV via Optical cable. The instructions are slim but the instruction diagrams are helpful. Be aware that there are two Optical connections. One is the input and one is the output but not labeled. When I first tried, I didn't have sound. Once I figured out the Optical in and out, I was able to connect to Bluetooth. I have very nice headphones and the sound is great! There is a lag in sound but I'm using this for late night TV watching or my wife and I watching TV where I can have a louder volume via my headphones. I do recommend Optical connection if possible. You'll also need a wall USB plug (not included) and all the enclosed cords are all way too short. Bottom line this is a nice unit for the price. I experienced excellent Sound through my headphones and great connection. The lag is there but not a deal breaker for me but it may be for you depending on your needs. For around $20, you can't beat it...
