Beautiful knife
Beautiful blade, I love the handle abd design on the blade. Its sharp (i still re sharpened it) and has a gorgeous appearance. Remember to NEVER put these into the dishwasher

Exceptional knives!
I now own 6 Hoshanho knives and every one of them is exceptional. I wanted really sharp knives and I got really sharp knives and I will keep them that way. They are beautiful. They cut like a dream- effortless. Did I mention they are beautiful?

Didn't hold an edge
Comes really sharp but did not hold the edge very well. It looks to be hand hammered from a distance but it's not. I've resharpened the blade and I'll see how long it lasts. If it holds an edge I'll update this if not I'll just throw it away. Update: After resharpening the blade, 22° both sides, it's now really sharp again and seems to be holding it's edge well. I'll keep it. So if you buy it be prepared to sharpen it. PS, the blade is to thick to use as a filet knife 🔪 no flex at all.

Made in China
This knife is made in China. The quality of the handle is poor. I haven't used the knife but I was expecting a quality Made in Japan knife.

Knife is dope a little heavy but dope!

A gorgeous blade at a steal of a price. The quality was unexpected at this price point and I’ve been recommending it to everyone! We’re not all sushi chefs and done need to invest the better part of a paycheck into one knife that we’ll use occasionally… this is the perfect balance. A great knife at a reasonable cost, so that every once in a blue moon you feel like slicing up some salmon - you too can live out your Morinoto & Nobu dreams.

The case was opened before with extra tape on and a plastic spacer was missing on one side for an approiate protection. Blade itself is in good quality but I found a crack on the handle. I am not happy with what I see here!
