These are thick enough to provide great cushioning below the ankles, with plenty of stretch from ankles up. What awesome socks! I have fairly large calves and always get a sock line by the end of the day. Not with these babies - they are awesome! The material is soft and has an open weave. They don't fall down or feel tight - yay!!! There is no odor or loose strings, either - and I'm so happy they come in black!

These diabetic socks (I'm not a diabetic but have swollen ankles and very wide feet) are very comfortable.One caveat is that the upper (ankle) region of the sock becomes somewhat thin when stretched to fit.

My husband loves these socks. He says they offer a lot of cushioning on the soles of his feet.

The Ioryzek Extra Wide Diabetic Socks can be worn by anyone with swollen legs. While I am not diabetic, I do have a tendency for my feet to swell. Most of my other socks are ankle high or just above the ankle high to wear with tennis shoes or slacks. These are nice for knee-high length. The socks are well padded around the foot and ankle area and then gradually move into a more open knitted weave that is very stretchy and non-binding. To me, the bottom of the sock appears to be a better quality than the uneven top, but that may be because the weave is geared to relax around swollen or larger legs. These do seem to work well when I need something a little dressier with black slacks and flats since they do not fall down and create a droopy sock. Sold in a two pair set. Made in China.

I am not diabetic but I love these stretchy, super comfortable socks. I can toe these off my size 10 US Women's feet without having to pry them off. They don't cut off my circulation and are comfortable all day. They wash well. They don't pill quickly either like some other socks I've tried recently. Overall, these are great socks.
