We bought this set to better fill out our collection of magnetic blocks for our son. Our first was another off brand version of the same blocks, but included all the letter and number squares that seem superfluous and a pain to clean up. Our first set also included the set up for building out a ferris wheel, but not enough squares and triangles to make that happen!All that to say, we were looking for a set with more squares and triangles, and at the request of our 3 year old "big triangles, pentagons and trapezoids". This set was perfect, did not have any of the unnecessary non magnetic parts, and was inexpensive to boot! (relatively speaking, of course) The magnets are nice and strong, the size matches those of other comparable sets of magnetic blocks so they are interchangeable, and it filled out our collection nicely. It came in a nice, well organized box so you could see exactly what you are getting and not have to wonder if you got all the pieces you were supposed to. It also comes with a storage bag, although we have moved all of ours to a larger bag since we now have multiple sets.This says it doesn't come with any "cards" so I thought that would mean no idea pages, but there is a booklet included. As with most of these sets, the booklet includes ideas for some things you don't have all the right number of shapes to build, so as time goes on I have a feeling we will be continuing to add, but it will be a couple pieces here and there (with the name brand you can buy specific shapes instead of continuing to buy huge sets once you have the basics).

I bought this to use in my classroom. The day the kit came, my grandson was visiting for the night and he played with it for the rest of the night then woke up to play with it again in the morning. Marvelous product. Bright colors and easy to place pieces together. There is a wonderful instruction book included to build items with the pieces. My grandson is 4 1/2 and he could follow the directions to make a car. The only annoyance I had was an included coupon code didn't work so I could buy another set at a reduced rate. This would make an awesome teacher classroom gift, birthday gift, or holiday present.

The magnets came loose very easily

These are made great and my kids both love them. They are the same as the name brand and a lot cheaper. The only complaint I have is that the book included also includes items that can not be built with this set alone my oldest was excited to build the robot on the front of the box only to discover it didnt come with all the peices Required.

Love it. really large set, great value for the money. No bogus letter and digits cards. All the pieces are actual magnets, good variety of shapes and sizes, and completely compatible with magnet blocks set from another set (another manufacturer) - same exact size. In fact, now after mixing them up we cannot tell which one is which. Except for this set has some rare shapes whereas the other set had mostly basic squares and triangles.

These are awesome! I had my 3 grandsons visiting, ages 2, 6 and 11, it is difficult to find something they all enjoy together given their age span, but these worked well. Even the adults enjoyed creating things. I have some smaller sets, but when the kids would get together there wasn't enough for all of them to make something, so I decided to get this larger set and I am glad I did.

The magnetic set was a wonderful gift for our children. They immediately unpacked the box and started building with the magnetic shapes. Our daughter made an amazing geometrical shape using the magnetic pieces. We are very happy with the set as it is both interesting and fun creating new designs with our children. The concept of having children use magnet pieces to build is innovative & educational.

They are an okay set by themselves, but the magnets are in different locations and the pieces are slightly smaller than Magnatiles and definitely not compatible. Returned.
