My previous phone was an Ulefone Armor 6E, a device with fantastic battery life and built like a tank - exactly what I wanted for it to survive around heavy machinery. The down-side of that pone was that it looked like a tank, full of angles and toughend plastic, as most rugged phones do.The Ulefone Armor 17 Pro, on the other hand, looks like a normal phone with a sleak design that is not out of place in the office whilst still keeping good battery life (with my typical usage, it is down to about 70% remaining after 1 day).Pros:- Android 12 (latest version at time of purchase).- No bloatware.- Plenty of RAM and storage (expandable)- Decent camera, use lower resolutions to get more features.- Large, clear screen.- Fast - performance over previous device is noticeably better.- Looks stylish.- Magnetic wireless charging.- Comfortable to use in a single hand.Cons:- Battery life is good, but not a standout feature compared against other rugged phones.- Comparatively heavy (although I was used to the weight from previous rugged phones).All in all, this is an excellent phone and the manufacturer has resolved some of the issues with earlier devices (such as the positioning and temperamental behaviour of the fingerprint unlock on the 6E). This is an excellent compromise between form and function, looking good, being sturdy and lasting a couple of days without needing a chard easily enough.I purchased this for less than £300, and at that price nothing else that I could find comes close in terms of features, performance and looks.

Excited when I got the phone until I start using it. Everything is small even after maxed the font. Lags every now and then, keep shutting down certain apps. Finger print/facial doesn't work for certain apps. Most concerning it gets really hot while using.The cameras are excellent, night vision and infra red perfect for out door and construction/DIY can trace pipes in the wall. That's the best feature. Battery life almost 2 days. That's based on normal usage, without watching YouTube, Tiktok and the lot.Probably got a faulty phone which heats up when using. Returning the phone for a bigger phone. The refund process is 14 days upon received and 7 days for payment to be paid into the account that's 21 days before I can buy a bigger phone.

No dislikes at all it is what they say. Size of screen a d phone is just what I wanted. Camera is as I expected with some great features. Price bracket is great for a phone with so many really good features. Battery is lasting well with heavyuse before needing a charge.

What I was most disappointed about was the camera. I feel that 108MP was kind of a sensationalist statement. But this is only achieved with AI technology as far as I can understand. The main camera is 12MP. The night vision mode was fun though.I had issues with the phone restarting at random times and also with its battery optimization creating issues with apps. I ended up returning it. It's a shame because I was quite excited initially.Edit: I received a full refund quite quickly after I returned the product, which was a relief. The customer support was impeccable in my experience. I changed my stars from 3 to 4.

A great rugged small form factor phone. Sits in your palm perfectly. Good performance good storage and the thermal camera is a must. I rate this phone very highly. Expensive? Not really, you certainly get what you pay for.

I loved this phone, but after 3 phones in 20 months, I have given up and bought a different brand.March 2023 bought the first phone. Loved it.July 2023, the fingerprint sensor stopped working. I could not be without a phone, so agreed with Ulefone that I would buy a new phone, transfer everything over and they refunded the money once it was returned.Januray 2024 Fingerprint sensor stopped working again. Same procedure, bought a new phone, money refunded.December 2024 fingerprint sensor stopped working AGAIN! Contacted Ulefone, said to return the phone to China for replacement and it would take 2-3 weeks. Asked if I could do the same again, buy a new phone and them refund me etc. and was told to contact the Amazon department at Ulefone. Three emails later and no reply, contacted Amazon who immediately refunded the cost of the phone.Great phone, but serious reliability issues with the fingerprint sensor.

The battery life is about a day and half. The speed is good. The memory is adequate. The camera is ok. All in all a budget quality phone.

Yet another rugged phone with glaring issues. General performance is adequate. Build quality is high. Yet the battery will not charge correctly on the first day. Returning. This seems like a common issue.
