THIS MIGHT OF WORKED TOO WELL!
I bought this camera to spy on my boyfriend while I was at work. This is the perfect camera for that. I got it a week ago, and surprisingly, I had it working in about 15 minutes, and knew what I was doing with it. I downloaded the app and immediately hid it in the bedroom behind a plant and some books where it was super disguised. And I kept it off until morning. The first three days it was pretty boring. I watched my boyfriend play video games and stuff his face for what felt like forever. But the very start of the fourth day, it was about to blow up. Tom left for a while, an hour or so, and I had no idea where he went. He lied and said he never left the house. But when he came back, he brought a woman with him. And she looked a fright! Let me tell ya, she looked like she was very troubled. Long story short, they started sharing bad things in my house, like smoking bad chemicals. I was shocked! I had no idea Tom did that! If that wasn’t bad enough, they got it on too. I kicked him out and I’ve been sad. But thanks to this camera, I won’t have to see a gynecologist anymore. It worked flawlessly. I never got the speaker to work, though. I couldn’t hear anything. I thought it was supposed to have sound? This price is unbeatable! $12 bucks for a spy camera!! I can see the billboards now, “$12 DOLLAR GADGET SAVES WOMAN’S LIFE!”. Yes, I recommend, but be careful what you decide to spy on. Now I use it to watch my two kitties, Edwina and George. (George used to be called Tom Cat, not anymore) 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️’s!

Great purchase & great price!
These are the best cameras I’ve had. Even though they had really high ratings, I was skeptical about the cheaper cameras in this line. I got two of the $9.99 cameras to watch and talk to my fur baby when I’m not there, so I was not expecting much for the price, but the cameras really impressed me. The clarity is awesome, there’s clear night vision, the sound is clear, the app is easy to use, set up is a breeze, and there are many camera functions. If I have additional camera needs in the future, this is where I’ll come to purchase.

Just okay resolution.
The range on this camera is pretty good considering there is no external antenna. The battery that’s inside does not last long so you will have to power it somehow. I installed this on a remote control vehicle to do under house inspections. The resolution is not really good enough for that but it’s OK for a security camera.

Great features for 20$!!
wow... For 20$? Great deal including pan and tilt? Good for what I needed. Not sure about long term but I bought a 2nd one. I have no need for storing images in the cloud, so I am not able to comment on that.... For just remote camera, using the app is free Returning a name brand Blink camera for which I refuse the 7.84 charge even though it claims to be "free"

best thing since sliced bread, felt like christmas when I was a kid. Once I got past the e-mail verification, left the rest out, didnt need cloud storage just popped in an sd card. By the way you need to pan upward to see the TF slot ( And to slip the sdcard in.) best night vision I have seen or owned. It erns that star light quality also

Good App, Bad Camera(s)
Not that great, might as well be a decoy camera. Tracking: The tracking performance is extremely poor. Motion detection is unreliable and often random—sometimes the camera doesn’t detect people walking directly in front of it until they’re nearly out of view. When it does attempt to track, the movement is jerky and delayed, making it ineffective for real-time monitoring. Notifications: Alerts are inconsistent. Some days the app sends back-to-back notifications, while other days there are none at all, even when activity occurs. This inconsistency makes it hard to trust the system for security purposes. Picture Quality: Image clarity is disappointing. Stationary cameras tend to produce clearer views, but the PTZ cameras are frequently pixelated and blurry, both in motion and when still. Dual-lens models add further frustration—the stationary lens offers only a limited view, while the PTZ lens often swings randomly to irrelevant areas. For example, one camera repeatedly turned to face a fence or wall, missing critical incidents like my dog falling into the pool or a delivery at the front door. Even preset positions don’t hold, as the camera drifts back to unhelpful angles. App Experience: The one redeeming feature is the app. It’s straightforward, easy to navigate, and convenient to have all cameras accessible in one place. Unfortunately, the app’s usability doesn’t compensate for the hardware’s unreliability. Overall: Vstarcam’s cameras fail at their core purpose—providing reliable surveillance. Between poor tracking, inconsistent notifications, blurry images, and cameras that wander away from important views, the system is more frustrating than protective. The app is well-designed, but the cameras themselves undermine the entire experience. If you can go with a different brand I would strongly recommend doing that. I've tried multiple different models (CS661, C622DR, C662DR, AF621DR, CS995M, CS621DR, Rraycom BW4) from O-Kam/Vstarcam and have been sadly disappointed.
