Does the job and saves so much time.
My son loves cherries but only eats them if the seeds are pitted so I used knives and forks for a while. Once he asked me to put them in his lunch box, I searched for this item and ordered it. This product has saved me so much time and my 4 year old son loves helping me take out the seeds. In terms of cleaning, it's not too hard to hand wash, but I just put it on the top rack of the dishwasher.
