Just me or terrible?
This scale did look really good and I liked it... at FIRST!This scale did work and was decently accurate. The problems cames later, after so much use it started to wobble, im not sure why, but it seems even new the springs making up the scale are super noticeable and if you push down certain spots it will go lower while the other corners do not. Aside of this it was fine.Pros:CheapAestheticsAccurateSmall for Espresso shotsCons:Cheap qualityScale wobbles badly

Works great & aesthetically pleasing!
I love the look and functionality of the scale. The white is very aesthetically pleasing. It’s quite accurate and works great to pull that perfect shot.It has become a staple in my routine. Other reviewers seem to have had issues with this scale. I hope it holds up longer than just a few months.

Incompatible with most USB C chargers
The scale functionality itself is excellent. I have had zero issues with using it for actual shot pulling. The major issue with this scale is charging it. While it is USB C, I have found the scale refuses to charge on the vast majority of my power bricks. I have tried 30w, 50w, and 100w output capable bricks and battery banks. The scale refuses to negotiate with them. It is only when I step down the power to around 10w that the scale will charge (at about 4w continuously). The vast majority of today's bricks are not going to provide such low power. The reason appears to be due to differences in USB A vs USB C implementations. In USB A, there is continuous voltage flowing. USB C does not do this, until power is negotiated by the scale. The scale appears to be missing the negotiating module in the port, meaning it will be nearly impossible to charge this scale with a USB C to USB C cord. Instead, you'll need to use a USB A to USB C cable, which will have power continuously flowing and not required the scale to negotiate it to begin charging. This is indicative of either poor understanding of the C spec, or just laziness by the designers.I understand that charging the scale is not the most frequently executed activity, but when it does come down to it, I can never remember which brick actually works with it. And I'm forced to hang on to legacy tech just to charge the scale.Given the option to rethink this purchase, I absolutely would consider this a strong reason to reject owning the scale. It's sad, since the scale itself has excellent features and build quality otherwise. Internal electronic design should not be sacrificed in the process to cut costs. The seller has offered a partial refund after this review, which I do appreciate. They also suggested placing a sticker on working chargers, as to locate them more quickly. But this is ignoring the larger issue of an erroneous or partial implementation of proper USB C specs. Maybe a future scale by this company will follow it more closely.

Defective measurement, DO NOT BUY
The media could not be loaded. As seen in video, putting down the same cup will give you different measurements every single time!!!!!

Completely unreliable. Avoid.
Initially it worked mostly fine but its readings would permanently change with the same amount of coffee beans on it if I slightly touched the cup the beans were in.Now the readings either randomly climb up and never settle or randomly drop and never settle. Completely unusable at this point.Absolutely do not buy. Get the Timemore Black Mirror instead. Mine works perfect.

Did not work for me
I bought two of these (one at a time) to replace my Acaia lunar scale. After years of using the lunar I dropped it and couldn’t fix it using the excellent instructions from Acaia. The lunar cost $250. I was surprised at the coffee scale options priced less that $50 on Amazon. This scale was not a good replacement. The first one I bought only included a plastic sheet on the scale that pointed out what all of the switches and displays did. I eventually figured out how to get it in auto mode, indicated by a “drop” icon. But when I started the espresso machine the timer didn’t start. I thought the device was defective and returned it and got a replacement. The second unit included an instruction manual. I discovered that auto mode included a weighing phase to the program. I don’t need this since my scale weighs the dose. I was able to fool the device and bypass the weighing phase. I put the scale under the portafilter and the timer started when the first drop hit the cup. Great! Except it didn’t stop when the shot was complete.I’m returning the scale and continuing the search.
