purchased this "Brazilian wood" expecting a high-quality, durable hardwood known for its rich color and strength, but what I received was a complete letdown. The wood arrived in a dull, decayed state, with dark, rotted spots and a rough, almost moldy texture. The ends are blackened and crumbling, and the overall appearance suggests it was improperly stored or already deteriorating before shipping.The texture is odd—segmented and mosaic-like, not the smooth, tight grain I’d expect from genuine Brazilian wood like Jatoba or Ipe. It looks more like cheap, damaged wood that’s been mislabeled. I intended to use this for a project requiring sturdy, premium hardwood, but this product is far from that standard. I even tried soaking it to see if it could be salvaged for aquarium use, but the decay makes it unsuitable for any purpose.This is not the quality I expect from a product marketed as Brazilian wood. It’s disappointing and feels like a waste of money. I’m returning it and would caution other buyers to avoid this listing unless the seller can guarantee better quality. Save your money and look elsewhere for genuine Brazilian wood.

Unsatisfied Review – Perpetual Brazilian Wood Plant I had high hopes for the Perpetual Brazilian Wood Plant, but my experience has been disappointing. The first delivery had to be returned as the product looked nothing like what I had ordered. While they did replace it, the second one was almost identical to the first—still not what I expected, but I decided to give it a chance. Even after 20 days of care, following all the described instructions, there has been no noticeable change. Worse, the root appears to be on the verge of dying, making me question the plant’s quality and sustainability. Overall, a frustrating experience. Not worth the hassle.

I got the delivery before one month and followed the procedure but you can see in the attached photograph, nothing grew even in one month time. Moreover I got rotten egg smell from both the stick. As return policy is not there, I can't even return. Strongly rejected. I will recommend not to buy this product. Simply wastage of money. I don't even prefer to give 1 star rating.

The product is not up to the mark. After keeping it in water for more than 20 days, there has been no positive update on the plant. The wood remains in the same condition as when it arrived from Amazon, with no growth or sprouts visible. This represents a loss of money. Kindly accept a return and process a refund.

I purchased the Brazilian wood plant some months back. I followed all the provided steps but didn't get any results. Unfortunately, this product was disappointing and a total waste of money and time. Never buying it again. Fake product. I invested a lot of time.

Nothing like what images & description shown on listing. Received one very small piece of smelling, rotten wood stump with bark rotten and peeling off, no leaves, looks like a rotten and mouldy piece of wood of no use for any purpose. Its not even good for free forget buying it.

Useless, dry piece of woods were delivered.

So I have a log of wood purchased on Amazon, based on the Amazon reviews I did not have high expectations, but curiosity made me buy it. I kept it in water as mentioned here and couldn't find the right side up as mentioned, it's been two weeks, it's still remains a log of wood at my desk. My wife makes fun of me for paying ₹200 for a piece of wood, but I will keep it till it grows into something. Fingers crossed 🤞
