Easy to Switch Out
After 20 years l had two valves fail, so I replaced a three valve Orbit manifold in less than fifteen minutes this morning. It’s an awesome product. Soooo easy!

Nice manifold.
I really liked these pre-assembled manifolds. Nothing is glued, so you can make changes easily. They functioned well all summer.

Mostly working for me
Product was pretty easy to install, once I had all the adapters. It comes assuming the input is either 1"or 3/4" PVC and the output is PVC. None of my water system is PVC. Shortly after installation one of the valves would reliably stick open each time it was opened, and would only close when the main disconnect was cut off.I chatted online with Orbit customer support. They sent me a link to a doc on how to take the valve apart. Did so, cleaned the diaphram, put it back together, and it is working. Took me 15 minutes on line and 30 minutes fussing with the valve assembly. Not bad.The valve has some very tiny pilot holes. I am concerned that my well water may have enough grit in it to clog it again. I deliberately plumbed in the irrigation system before the water filters, as I don't see the need to add irrigation load to my treatment system.

Great System
It was so much fun to dig up and discard the old standard sprinkler valves and replace them with this manifold system. I can now replace all the system parts without digging. I do recommend you buy an extra system for future valve replacement. I cannot see a fully assembled orbit valve replacement for the manifold. Also, these valves are not anti siphon valves, so you must install an anti siphon valve between the manifold and street/ house water source. Additionally, buy a quality O-ring grease lubricant and apply to all manifold joints prior to installation. I feel this is critical to prevent leakage and ensure a good seal.I bought two more manifold systems for my front yard. I recommend you try this new concept for sprinklers. I’m totally satisfied.

Preassembled Manifold
I was a little hesitant to purchase this due to some reviewers saying the manifolds leak or the solenoids didn't work. My experience with grouping multiple manifolds together to get a total of 7 valves has been great. Zero complaints. Does exactly what it does. No leaks, no bad solenoids. The tricky part was the install due to having to cut and remove the old system. Once installed I wired all 7 valves to an Orbit 12 station B Hyve sprinkler controller unit. Works flawlessly. I will be adding an additional 2 stations to the B Hyve controller using the Preassembled Manifold with 2 valves.

Great for new installations; good for retro-fits
I replaced the two existing valves with this 3-valve unit. The biggest challenge was in lining up the existing sprinkler lines with the three "out" lines. The fact that the connectors for the one "inlet" line and the 3 "outlet" lines cement to the PVC pipes, then screw onto the manifold helped some.If I had been installing this for a new installation, it would have been a piece of cake; starting from the manifold and installing outward insures the proper alignment and is easier to work things to fit your layout.Electrical connections to your irrigation controller is easy too.

Fantastic three-way manifold
The media could not be loaded. I used this to replace my old 1950s 110 V control gigantic solenoids. Long time ago, I built a breakout box to interface the 24th V modern timer to the old 110 V control circuit.I’ve included pictures of the old gigantic solenoids and the breakout box that I built to interface them. Now everything is 24 V like it should be.The only issue I ran into with this manifold was the threads were leaking around one of the solenoids. Tighting it did not help so I put a little Teflon tape on the threads and no more leaks.Naturally, when I turned the pump on, I had a few leaks. But being able to simply unscrew the unions from the manifold to fix any leaking pipe issues was a real plus.
