Update 8/7/2022: The second belt has held up well.I ordered this to replace a broken belt. It was very easy to install and worked great for about a week. One day i turned it on and the belt wasn’t turning, turns out this belt snapped. I’m giving this part a second chance in hopes that the next belt will hold up.

So easy to replace. I love this vacuum. Good price. Before I bought this Carpet Pro, my wife and kids were killing Hoovers and Electrolux models at least every year. This was twice the price of those other models but so far this has lasted 5 times longer and is still going strong! It has suddenly shut off quite a few times during heavy use- but it has a simple reset button and always goes back to work quickly. This is the third belt in 5 years- not too bad really.

Because I was in immediate need of a belt and couldn't wait for one to be shipped, I went ahead and got a belt that was "close enough" in size. It worked. Sort of.When that belt started showing too much wear, I went ahead and ordered this genuine belt to replace it. Big difference. This belt has my Carpet Pro running like new again.If you find yourself in immediate need of a belt, don't worry about getting a temporary replacement. But do go ahead and order the genuine article for later delivery. You'll be glad you did.

Works as advertised

Recieved these belts in the mail 4 days after ordering. Perfect fit for the part replaced. Slipped right into place without issue.I think it would be useful if the belts came with instructions, but I had the original manual so it was not a big deal to install them.

I needed to buy some vacuum bags and decided to buy a back-up belt while I was at it. Having purchased the CarpetPro CPU-2T about a year ago, the belt broken due to it's amazing suction while vacuuming a loose kitchen rug (not a good idea). So wanted a back-up belt.

It fit the commercial vacuum that we have - CPU2!
