Flitz is a hidden gem. Used this on solid brass outside numbers with OOOO steel wool and comes out great. Flitz polish made it look new.

Love this product. It was recommended to me by my plumber. It is the only product I've found that can actually dissolve large, hard clumps of lime, calcium build-up. You'll still need to scrub, if you've allowed it to really build up, and even though this product can remove it, the finish underneath has already been damaged and will likely be black where it used to be maybe silver or gold. So it won't look like new, but still an improvement to an unsightly problem. Better to use this occasionally on those areas prone to build up, like faucets, to keep them nice with this from the get go then to try and fix later. And that type of cleaning, when there's just a little staining is as easy as spray and wipe. You can tell if it's actually lime, calcium hard water build-up and not something easily confused for this like soap scum because it will immediately fizz up upon contact. I like to use it on my shower handles and around faucets. One bottle lasts forever because I use it on very targeted areas not all over.

We have very hard water in our neighborhood, and have been struggling for years to find a product that will remove the calcium and lime buildup. I read the reviews and thought this product would do the trick. It did help a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. Multiple applications still didn't remove the buildup, and the fumes are really strong. We opened the window, turned on fans, left the room and still had issues when we came back to rinse/rub off the product.Bottom line: it did help, just not enough.

Hey this stuff really works. I have hard water build up on my shower. I sprayed this on and left it for a minute and it all wiped off pretty good. It doesn’t really remove the hard barnacle pieces, those I had to chip off with a screwdriver and hammer. But the rest of it came off and the shower silver sparkles.

If the driver had not dropped the package (making me put it in a container) it would have rated 5 star. I have tried many Products promising the same results and have always been disappointed, but with this product I have a renewed faith!! It has done everything it promises to do with the most beautiful results! Thank you

We purchased a 1993 pontoon boat that has been in the lake since new. When we pulled it out of the water it had a hard calcium build up from the water line down that was thick and disgusting looking. A friend told me about Flitz so I ordered a bottle to try it. I sprayed it onto the filthy engine deposits and within 10 minutes the deposits rubbed off with a cloth. I have now ordered 2 gallons so that I can treat the entire 32 foot boat. I will apply it with a pump sprayer, let is set, and then pressure wash off the deposits. This stuff works like a miracle. I am very pleased with this product and Highly recommend it.
