These flowers were obviously designed by professionals that have passion for what they do so that people like me can DIY something that looks decent. I painted with a dilution of water and luster dust. I had a "practice flower" and use one petal to determine how deep I wanted the color. I'm sure if you sprayed these it would be even easier. It was pretty simple to move the petals apart to paint them and then move them back into place. They are gorgeous and sturdy, I'll be able to use them time after time. Although they are technically made of edible products, you would not want to eat these but they are safe to be added to edible items.
