Rubbish tested yesterday showed I'm clear. In hospital been tested and positive for a type B flu these tests don't work

I ordered this test kit partly from curiosity and partly because, if the worst came to the worst, I wanted to be able to insist that I didn't have manflu but real influenza. I am susceptible to pneumonia so this is a concern.You will gather I haven't actually tried the test yet but I have read the instructions and looked at the component parts. it looks frighteningly like the covid test using the same protocol and similar devices but different chemistry.It does seem expensive at nearly £5 for a single test. This is certainly a deterrent against imaginary fevers. I have little choice but to say five stars.

This is an easy to use influenza A/B test kit. If you are familiar with lateral flow tests, you should find this easy to use as well. Even if you aren't used to doing lateral flow tests then the provided instructions are clear and simple to follow.As I don't currently have influenza, I can't say for sure whether this test would give an accurate result. However, it has the look of a valid test kit and the price-point is similar to other influenza test kits that I've had from Amazon.
