Mountain High Organics Gluten Free Organic Quinoa Pasta, Fusilli (1LB Bag)

Living in a gluten free household finding a good pasta is not easy. This one isn't top of our list but has made making macaroni and cheese quickly much easier.

After whole grain pasta failed entire family's taste tests, regardless of type or quantity of sauce, and the gluten free turned to mush after stirring in any sauce, we looked for alternatives. Family hated the chick pea or the lentil based pastas. Then learned of Quinoa pasta from one of my patients but local stores didn't carry any. Loved the idea of a high protein pasta AND it tastes very favorable, takes the sauce well, doesn't fall to pieces and my family can't tell i substituted a "healthier' choice.Also I don't get the bloating I suffered after regular pasta first years.I now recommend it to others routinely

Tastes great, cooks fast!

The package instructions said this took 8-10 minutes to cook. I boiled it for almost 19 at a rolling, heavy boil and it's still not really done. There's an undercooked taste and texture. The spaghetti from this brand has a good texture and cooks quickly. Don't get me wrong, this tastes overall fine. Maybe if I left it longer it would have been better, but I timed it for 9 minutes, then added 3, then 3 again, then 2, then 2...considering the instructions on the package were half that, something isnt quite right. I was worried it'd suddenly turn to mush if I kept boiling it.Taste is good. Texture is tough. If you like really, really chewy pasta, you found it.

This pasta was very good. It held it shape well. The bag contains a full pound.

Really good gluten free pasta!!! And the best part is one bag feeds a family. Not like other gluten free pasta that you have to use at least two packages. Twice the cost!!! Definitely will buy again !!!

It tasted aweful and I know it’s supposed to be healthy but it tasted inedible
