Stands on its own and helps provide stability on uneven ground
I'm younger than the stereotypical cane user, and need to use one every time I leave the house (and sometimes in the house), so I appreciate fun and/or attractive cane options, and have at least 15 canes in my current rotation, typically picking the cane du jour to go with my outfit or mood. The beautiful blue/green color of this cane is a great addition to my collection, and will likely get a good amount of use since the color will go with nearly anything, I really like the base, and the handle is comfortable, even compared to the usual foam handle I typically prefer.Speaking of the base, it's great! Rather than the usual skinny tip that's barely larger than the stick itself, it's a round base with 4 feet on it, so the cane stands on its own, and provides a bit more stability on uneven ground. It does take a bit of getting used to initally because there's what feels like a bit of give as the cane almost bends and adjusts to the angle of the cane/ground - it's difficult to describe, but you quickly adjust to it, and it works well and feels more stable than the typical cane tip.Added bonus to the base: It (mostly) stands on its own AND if it does fall while you're seated or standing at a counter, it is much easier to step on the base so the handle rises up high enough for you to grab than it is with the typical cane tip - something I appreciate immensely as a disabled woman who has difficulty bending due to a spine injury.Because of the slight "give" in the base, I would recommend using this for the first time on a "good" day rather than a bad one if you need a cane for stability due to a spine injury so you can get used to it.The cane is collapsible, so it's a good option for those who don't need a cane all the time or for use when traveling. However, because of the disc-like base, it doesn't collapse into as small a package as the typical collapsible cane... it takes up a good deal more space and creates a more awkward package than the typical collapsible cane. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove the base easily/without great effort to make it a smaller package, which is unfortunate, and I don't know that it would be my first choice if I were carrying it around in my purse on the off chance I would need a cane at some point during my outing.Despite the minor quirks of the base and the awkwardness it creates when collapsed, I'm glad I got this cane! It's a great addition to my collection, and I would recommend it as a good option for anyone in need of a cane.

Extremely comfortable grip
This is lightweight, pretty easy to put together and adjust the height. It does stand up on its own. The handgrip is the best for me - the end of it flares out so your palm has much more support, and the material reminds me of like a solid rubber type of material. It's very firm but not hard like a thick plastic. It's truly comfortable to hold onto. The base offers good traction, and the slight pivot this has at the base took me a bit to get used to but it really does help with going over uneven terrain. At first it was unusual because it gives a little as you're walking but I got used to that quickly and now I prefer this. Overall it's strong and sturdy. I didn't keep the storage bag it came with because it was easier to hang up on a hook on my door rather than disassembling it to store away after each use. I do not need to use a cane all the time, just on some days I need some assistance, and this is the one I grab now.

This cane would be better for someone with a lesser degree of disability
I got this cane for my husband who has back problems that cause pain when he walks and bends, along with earlier-stage dementia that makes it easy for him to fall. He is unstable enough we use a wheelchair outside the house and sometimes inside. But on those days he feels he can walk, I thought this would give him a bit more stability. He likes the feel of the hand grip, likes the wider base, and is getting used to the "give" of the base. He does have a problem with is the cane standing when not in use. Although we have wood floors throughout our house, the cane still has about a 50 percent rate of falling when he stands it up. It appears that he stands the cane up straight so that doesn't seem to be the issue. This is the reason for four stars. Overall, he likes the cane and has gotten good use out of it, and it gives us both more confidence when he's walking. I do believe, however, that this cane would be better for someone with a lesser degree of disability.

Durable free standing lightweight Cane
My daughter and husband for whatever reason, love to play around with my canes and have broken everyone, so this one is mind, only mine. I have a bad back and never know when it's going to get worse or when my sciatica is going to flare up. This cane is strong enough for any adult, folds up for easy carry and storage and has feet so it can stand freely. It is also extremely lightweight, and comes with a storage bag. The handle is a comfortable ergonomic handle with a strap hanging from the handle which is multi purpose, ie, wrap around your wrist, hang on a hook, etc. The cane folds up using an internal spring cord, and you can adjust the height to your comfort by pushing in the little silver knob located a couple of inches below the handle. I like the shiny teal metallic color and the rounded bottom with feet for free standing and it won't scratch up your tile or wood floors. I did notice that it doesn't stand up freely on some plush rugs or carpets, but that's not a deal breaker. To fold it up and put it back in the black drawstring storage bag, you'll need to push the knob to adjust the came back to the shortest height and it will fit back in the bag just like it came. I doubt my husband or daughter could break this one, but I'm still keeping it hidden from them.
