Leather Hero 2-in-1 Purse Cleaner & Conditioner – Leather Cream for Handbags, Designer Bags, Faux & Saffiano Leather – Non-Greasy, Won’t Darken, Safe for Purses, Jackets & More

I've had a pair of Johnson & Murphy shoes for about 20 years. I don't wear these a lot but, as you can see from the initial photos, I just didn't take care of these shoes (no cleaning, no shoe polish, no protectant). So, rather late in the game, I finally decided to show these shoes some love and give them a good cleaning and at least attempt to restore them to reasonably decent condition. In addition to Leather Hero Leather Cream, I had an electric shoe polisher. First, I gave the shoes a good wipe down to remove any dirt and debris. Next, I hand-applied a generous amount of the leather cream and really massaged it into the more distressed areas. I actually ended up doing about five applications over a couple of days. Each application was allowed to sit and dry for anywhere between 30 minutes to 3 hours. After each application, I wiped the excess cream off the shoe with a very soft rag and gave each shoe a little hand buffing. I then used the electric shoe polisher (soft brush head) for about 10-15 minutes per shoe. The more damaged leather areas look much better but I could have prevented this damage in the first place by periodically treating and polishing these shoes. The left shoe has some kind of blackish scuffing near the toe cap and the cleaner didn't remove that. I'm not sure what this is; might not be just on the surface and so the cleaner wouldn't really be able to remove it. Still it looks much better than before. If you don't use a polisher, you won't really change the original shine of the leather. These shoes have more of a matte finish and so aren't supposed to be super shiny. Nonetheless, they now do have a little bit of nice shine to them. I may purchase some brown shoe polish to really add a protective wax layer to these shoes. But the Leather Hero Leather Cream has done a very nice job of bringing these abused shoes back to life. Assuming the photos attach in the order I uploaded them, you can see two before and after shots that clearly show how well the cream worked. The last four shots are after five treatments and polishing.

I’m impressed. I used it on two backpacks. One was a settled other and the other one was cowhide. It cleaned and moisturized at the same time with no offputting smell.

Arrived quickly Not particularly effective in the leather purse I’m trying to clean. Probably conditions the leather but not great for removing small spots

I don't feel this product does a good job. I used it on my leather purse and it didn't clean well.

Was not sure this would work in my leather purse….but it worked great! Recommend

I am so pleased with this leather cream. All I wanted was to moisturize my breathable leather bag (from Coach) and condition it but didn't want to pay the price coach wanted. I didn't want a wax or anything that was going to seal the leather as it's breathable and needs to breath. It looks like a new bag now! I'll have to dig my others out and do them as well as I never keep up on the conditioning of bags even though I used to work there and know how important it is.

Used this on my handbag and it brought it back to life!
