Excellent for Craftsmen
I recently had the opportunity to use a leather filler paste for my leather crafting projects, and it has truly transformed the way I work with leather. This product is an absolute game-changer for craftsmen who are dedicated to producing high-quality leather goods. Hereโs why this leather filler paste stands out as an essential tool for anyone working with leather. First and foremost, the consistency and texture of the leather filler paste are perfect for achieving a seamless repair. The paste is smooth and easy to apply, which allows for precise filling of cracks, holes, and other imperfections in leather surfaces. This is crucial for craftsmen who strive for a flawless finish in their work. The ability to seamlessly blend repairs into the surrounding leather ensures that the final product looks professional and well-crafted. The adhesion properties of this leather filler paste are impressive. Once applied, it bonds exceptionally well to the leather, creating a durable and long-lasting repair. This is particularly important for items that will undergo regular use and wear, such as bags, wallets, and furniture. The strong bond ensures that the repair will hold up over time, maintaining the integrity and appearance of the leather item. Another standout feature of this leather filler paste is its versatility. It can be used on a wide range of leather types, from smooth to textured, and even on synthetic leathers. This makes it an invaluable tool for craftsmen who work with different kinds of leather in their projects. Whether youโre repairing a vintage leather jacket, restoring a worn-out leather couch, or fixing a beloved pair of leather shoes, this filler paste can handle the job. The drying time of the leather filler paste is also worth mentioning. It dries relatively quickly, allowing craftsmen to proceed with their projects without long delays. This is especially beneficial when working on time-sensitive projects or when multiple layers of filler are needed. The quick drying time ensures efficiency and productivity in the workshop. In terms of finish, the leather filler paste can be easily sanded and dyed to match the surrounding leather. This is a critical feature for achieving a uniform appearance. The ability to sand the dried filler ensures a smooth surface that blends seamlessly with the original leather. Additionally, the paste takes dye well, allowing for precise color matching. This ensures that the repair is virtually invisible, preserving the aesthetic appeal of the leather item. For craftsmen who take pride in their work, the durability and flexibility of the leather filler paste are essential. Once cured, the paste remains flexible, which is important for items that need to bend and flex during use. This flexibility prevents the repair from cracking or breaking over time, ensuring the longevity of the leather item. In conclusion, this leather filler paste is an outstanding product for craftsmen who work with leather. Its smooth application, strong adhesion, versatility, quick drying time, and excellent finish make it an indispensable tool in any leather workshop. Whether youโre a professional leatherworker or a hobbyist, this filler paste will elevate the quality of your repairs and projects. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to achieve professional-grade results in their leatherwork.

This stuff is Magic!
This stuff is magic. I had torn leather seats on a 23 year old Jetta Iโm restoring. The corners of the 2 rear seats were ripped up and had 1โ wide tears about 4-5โ long each and quite jagged. I was going to use leather repair tape, but I decided that it was worth attempting to fill and repair them. If it didnโt work out I could still use the tape. If it worked, weโd have new seats. I first filled the openings with fiber fill as needed and then glued a heavy duck fabric to the underside. Next I began layering in thin layers of the Leather Filler. It took me several days to apply, air dry, repeat to get to level I wanted. I did feather out and even sanded as needed to get a smooth and even finish. I am waiting for the factory matched leather dye to complete the process. But, I am so thrilled either way with the results so far. If you close your eyes and run your hand over the repairs, you can barely tell there is a difference. Once theyโre completely finished and dyed, I will try to update with pictures.

May take a few layers but it works
So I have tried leather repair pastes before, and the last one I tried was useless goop that didn't fill anything. So I was unsure if this was going to be any better. Thankfully I found this stuff to be a little more useful. It does fill patches though you may need to do a few layers to get it right. However this stuff is pretty fast drying once applied, so it's not too hard to do that. Although if the leather you're working on isn't white, you may need some paint or something to color match

Dont buy
This looked like it was going to be good when I first used it, but after a few days of sitting on the couch, most lf it rubbed off. Would not recommend.

Fill those leather tears with this product. Works!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: After some research, I decided to try this product for a hole in my chair which was getting larger. The package does not come with application instructions but with a little utube time it was apparent how to use it. I filled the hole and let it dry. It does go on thick, so very thin coat is all that was needed. It dried in a short time and I was ready to finish this project off with the leather color from the same company. It is white in color and will need a color for any colored leather. It does come with some applicators, so it is ready to use as it comes out of the box.

This filler really works wonders
The armrests on my sectional had tears, holes, and cat claw punctures that made the whole thing look ready for the junkyard. I worked some filler into the hole and tear and it pulled the edges together. It dried fast. I kept sanding and smoothing more filler over the damaged area with a putty knife. Time and patience are needed! Finally when the areas were smooth I used Angelus Leather Paint which covered the white of the filler perfectly. Angelus has many colors and Dark Taupe was an excellent match for my leather. Wish I had taken a before photo to show going from disaster to looking brand new.
