Best investment! I was intrigued when I saw this on my Facebook feed, and was debating for a couple of days about it, read through reviews and decided to try it. I've been curling my hair with a flat iron for about 5 years, used to turn out great, but the last year or so not so much, the back just wouldn't cooperate and it would look flat. First time using this and in less than 15 mins my hair had amazing perfect curls, even in the back, and it doesn't look flat. Hands down easiest way I've ever styled my hair. I use brushable hold hairspray, and gave it about 5 mins to set and gently ran my fingers through to loosen it up, and it looks amazing. One thing I would note, and I read it in several reviews, is the first curl I did I bumped the off button, but that was a quick fix of how I was holding it, and it didn't happen again. Not sure how this will work for straighting my hair, as I haven't tried, but I'm not concerned with that aspect. Added bonus, when I got to work my coworkers were amazed at how "perfect" my hair lookedand were blown away when I told them it took less than 15 mins to achieve. UPDATE: I used this to straighten my hair for the first time today, and again, I am impressed! It was quick and effortless and turned out better than when using my salon quality flat iron!

I don't know why, but for curls, yes it does a great job, but for some reason, when ever I have to straighten my hair, I have to go over it several times or only use the very edge of it to get it to straighten. The two hot plates don't touch at the base of the straightener and because of that they don't really "flatten" my hair.

I’ll be 100% transparent. I have several L’ange products, but they are not my favorite. However, my daughter got married and at her wedding this girl had one of these and I “tried” it. I fell in LOVE with it and ordered mine once I got home! It puts so much body in my hair and is simply amazing! My first ever, favorite L’angle hair product! ❤️

I have long hair that doesn't hold curl well. I initially bought this curler from a Facebook ad about 3 years ago. Prior to using this curler, I used a curler with a rotating wand, which I like, but after I curled my hair in the 2nd story bathroom, my hair was almost straight by the time I got to the bottom of the stairs on the first level. Since my previous curler was heat only, I used the highest heat to curl my hair in an effort to make the curl last a little longer. Because of this, I often had to have my hair trimmed to cut off the burned ends. After about 3 years of use, my other L'ange curler got a film on the curling plates from hair spray I use, and my hair was starting to stick to the plates. So, I decided to clean the plates. Since the film was kind of thick, I used a scrubby to get it off. After cleaning, and getting the curler wet, it didn't work. So, I had to go back to using the rotating curler until I got the order for this one. I was not a happy camper!! Surprisingly, my loved L'ange curler needed only to dry and the next day it was working again. So, now I have the new one as a backup. This is fine with me since I don't want to be without this curler again. What I love about this curler is: 1) I don't have to use the highest heat to get a nice curl. 2) Since the fan cools the curl as you go, the curl lasts much longer than with other heated curling irons. 3) It doesn't take long to get used to using this curler for the curl you want. For me, I curl the top of my hair, which is shorter, in 3 sections. After I brush it out, I use the curler to modify the curl until it lays the way I want it to. I curl the longer hair in two sections pulled to the front to smooth the hair and get curl only at the ends. It can take a little practice to get the curl you want. Small sections will produce more curl for each section. Larger section are fine if you want smoothing of the hair and a little curl only at the ends. The trick is to turn the curler as you move it slowly down the hair strands and hold it a little longer at the ends for more curl. The longer you hold it, the more it curls.
