Wish it had more lasers but it does work... took a lot of sessions for me but I'm starting from very little hair on top haha. I haven't used others but the helmet isn't that bad... I had to use the foam inserts to make it more comfortable on my head since it's large... might fit better on a woman with a lot of hair already compared to a bald man haha. I mean what matters is the laser quality lol not so much the other components... it's going to be plastic either way so this one is cheaper than the ihelmet... so why not try it and if you don't like it then get your money back .. I use it like 3 times a day so you can get a lot of sessions in a month for you to see if it works for you... it's definitely not a piece of garbage...

Unit failed after 22 treatments. Company sent me a new battery and charger to try to resolve the problem. Battery was changed and charged on 01/13/2019. Treatment 23 was successful on this date also. I only gave two stars because the unit failed after about two months of service and I'm afraid that the unit may fail after another 22 treatments and the unit will be out of warranty.

Like many women with thinning hair, I've tried quite a few "remedies," including Minoxidil, and had only modest success. This little helmet actually works. I've used it for about three months, and the hair at the crown of my head is definitely growing back. Also, the look and manageability of my hair has improved noticeably. I truly didn't expect much, but I am amazed and gratified to see how well this works. Unfortunately, I was so pessimistic at the beginning of treatment that I didn't take pictures, but almost everyone among my family and friends has noticed the improvement. I couldn't be more pleased.

Do not buy. This product is cheaply made and very heavy/uncomfortable. I regret buying this don’t make the same mistake I did.

From the start the sound was completely garbled and it was impossible to understand what the device said. This is really a poorly made piece of hardware.

I used this device for 8 mos as directed & didn't notice any hair growth.

I've been struggling with hair loss for several years, caused in part by hyperthyroid. I've used minoxidil for several years (it works) and have been using DHT blocking shampoo to diminish additional hair loss (it works). I've taken all kinds of health supplements, including Saw Palmetto (it helps). Biotin is great for hair and skin but it does not regrow lost hair; it just enhances the hair you have already. I've been using Viviscal for several months and I'm not sure if it really does anything.My hair is thinning all over my head but especially pronounced in the front. Within one month of use, where I used to see only skin, I began seeing tiny little hairs at my hairline. I thought I was being overly hopeful and was imagining it. One of my friends suffers similar hair loss and when I showed her, she could see it too. She is going to buy a Theragrow helmet.Read all the information that comes with the helmet and follow the directions exactly. The info is straightforward and easy to understand and it's HONEST. The device works exactly the way the printed info says it's supposed to work.Note - it may take as long as several months to see any results. I am not the norm and I'm very happy I saw growth within the first month. I'm near the end of my second month of using the helmets and the hair is still there and growing. I'm still getting tiny little new hair also. Also, I did not buy the device here, I bought it from TV.

I bought this product 1 1/2 years ago. I used it regularly. I can't honestly say it did or didn't work but I wanted to continue to use it in case it helped me maintain what hair I have. The unit stopped working and I contacted support 3Xs Everytime they said someone would get back with me. No one ever called.
