First off, this is a truly great 27" monitor. I looked a long time before I found this. It has excellent color and accuracy, no distortions, wide RGB capability (99% +), very fast response time, higher contrast score than a LOT of other even higher priced monitors, nice guarantee, and way brighter display (at same brightness setting) and better color than my Dell 24" 1080p monitor !!! The ONLY oddity is the on/off button placement, and fact that you have to push the button twice to turn off the monitor. Mildly annoying but no where near a deal breaker with its EXCELLENT quality and function. You should check the specs yourself. You'll have to pay a LOT more for a better 27" monitor than this one !!! It is an absolutely great monitor at a price WAY more affordable than even $190 -$200 units

I’m impressed with the quality of this monitor. I haven’t even had time to play with the eye care but out of the box this monitor is beautiful. The colors and display are beautiful. I can’t wait to use these for work.

Big, bright, and clear. It is taller than the squatty monitors, which I love and had been looking for. I usually have several files open for data collection or whatnot at work and my old ancient monitors wouldn't work with the new laptop work bought for me. It is very clear, making reading text and numbers a lot easier for these tired and aging eyes. It has been a great purchase. I bighly recommend this monitor.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good price, bought it as a secondary monitor. You cannot adjust the height with the stand and has only a small angle of tilt for top and bottom, no side to side adjusts unless you just move the stand. I would suggest using this with an adjustable VESA mount setup. Picture quality is good but not doing anything graphics intensive with the monitor.

This is a great monitor for daily work, especially great for a reading experience. If you're doing any reading on a screen for a prolonged period and have found that other monitors give you a headache, know that you will not experience that with this one.

Excellent, very Happy

First the cons: I am running the latest version of Mac Sequoia OS with everything updated and the BENQ monitor software would not work. It appeared to load fine but abruptly shuts down seconds after opening it. I'm not using virus software so I'm not sure what's going on there. Luckily, most manual controls are located on the back edge of the monitor so you can adjust settings without the software (such as blue light reduction, brightness, and refresh rate). I don't like additional software for a monitor anyways so no big deal for me. The speakers show up in my settings but will not work either. I'm not sure if the software package (which doesn't work) also includes drivers for the speakers. Again, I don't want to use the included speakers and I have another pair which work fine. So, right out of the box I encountered problems which could prompt the average user to return this monitor. The attachment of the stand to the monitor could be improved from an aesthetic standpoint. To allow tilt, there is a half inch gap of visible hinge metal between the stand and monitor back. It's just looks, but still. The power cord is too short for me. I feel it should come with an eight foot cord. For the pros: This monitor has great clarity, color, and sharpness of text, etc.. The bezel edge is thin and unobtrusive. The adjustment buttons on the monitor are easy to use and no mouse or keyboard is required. I like the location of the on/sleep light which is located on the underside corner of the monitor and is not too bright. I love the multiple settings for blue light reduction as the jury is still out on whether blue light can cause permanent eye damage and/or bleaching of the retina over the long run, rather than just making your eyes tired or preventing you from sleeping. I like to turn blue light protection to 3 or 4, and set the brightness to about 10 for most tasks. It has a nice medium weight and a fairly wide base for stability. The viewing angle is good. The startup time is instant from the moment you hit power. I think it says a lot that I am willing to keep this monitor even with some flaws. If the additional software could be removed altogether and all controls were manual, I would be even more happy with this monitor. The price point is good.
