Floating issues!
I think the lanterns are pretty by themselves. However, they are not that sturdy to float on water. A few lanterns sank and thankfully, I did not use the tea candles they sent. I used the battery kind that I got from another store. And water got into the batteries of these tea lights, too. So, I went ahead and bought some foam lotus leaves and hopefully, they can float these lanterns with the battery lit tea lights. If I can suggest to the maker of these lanterns, find another way to resolve the bottom of your lanterns so that they float better and longer. I love the design but the functionality for not sinking can be improved.

Beautiful memorial experience
Worked perfect for our daughter birthday. We did a memorial for her at the lake. Her friends drew on the lanterns. The lanterns were durable and lasted all the way across the big lake!

It does what it is supposed to do
Kind of wish it was a little more eco friendly(the tea cup candle has the aluminum tray holder). They aren't the most impressive looking up close and in the day light, but I suppose the idea is they are to look good in the setting sun to dark and out on the water. Did their job.

Worse than Expected
I was expecting this product smaller and eith a less bright orange color. I used them for my wedding party to decorate the pool and they sank next morning. In addition to that the candles they send went out quickly.

Combustible flaming boxes ...entertaining (not recommended for funerals)
these caught on fire fairly quickly after we put them in the water. We were doing a memorial service and this provided unintended and mildly inappropriate entertainment during an otherwise somber event but made it memorable. Not quite what we were looking for.

Terrible material
Horrible did a tribute for my late husband and I was truly embarrassed because of this product AWFUL!

The paper ripped and fell apart just taking it out of the bag. poor quality

Poor Quality
The candles only lasted 30 minutes of that. The lanterns started to melt and sink to the bottom of the pool. Had to spend time getting the metal and lanterns from the bottom of the pool.
