Great phone! Amazon apps can be disabled If you don't want them!
This phone is amazing! This phone is compatible with qlink service because qlink uses Sprint service. I read alot of reviews about compatibility with phone services and it was unclear since I was using qlink. So I was happy to see that it works great! It doesn't come with a sim card but qlink mails you a sim card for free. When sim card came it was already setup to put in and worked immediately. This phone is a Great value, I did buy it new not used. I was concerned about the Amazon apps already installed but if you don't want them they are easily disabled so you don't get all of the apps with adds interrupting your phone. It actually was a better price buying with the Amazon apps then buying from other places online and as I stated, they are easily disabled. This phone has an excellent battery life it lasts all day even if you're online alot. Would probably last at least two days if you're not online alot. It has great storage 32g with the option of using a memory card up to 128 if needed. This phone also charges very fast! I am so happy with this phone that I would buy again when I need to upgrade to a newer model. The phone also came with a clear case which is a nice feature that you can use until you can buy a better case if you choose to, or just use the clear case if you like. A plastic or metal case would secure the phone better, but the clear case is fine until you're ready to buy a stronger one. As I stated above, don't let the Amazon apps Installed in this phone deter you from buying, they can be easily turned off and disabled because the apps have adds that will interrupt the phone and be quite annoying. This phone is a great value and I am so happy I bought it!

Amazing phone at a great price. No complaints so far.
I was looking for a new Android phone after my last phone fried itself. This is a great phone with lots of little features on top of stock android features which make life much easier such. I vacillated a lot between the Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play. I would have definitely gone for the Moto G6 (3000mAh) if it had a larger battery like the Moto G6 Play (4000mAh). I also liked the fingerprint sensor to be at the back in this phone since that is the natural position of my finger while using my phone. The Moto G6 has the fingerprint sensor on the front. In the end, after heavy deliberation, the larger battery life was the primary factor that swung me to the Moto G6 Play, especially since the battery in either phone is not removable and easily replaceable. Some of the additional features in this phone are:1. Fingerprint unlock:Earlier I would be reading an article on the internet and my phone would lock itself. I would have to press the power button, enter in my PIN, and resume reading. Now I can just move my finger behind the phone a bit and the phone gets immediately unlocked2. Three finger screenshot:Now you don't need to press the power key and volume key at the same time to take a screenshot. You can touch the screen with 3 fingers and that takes a screenshot. Very convenient!3. Moto Key for easier login to supported websites, apps, and devices:You can access websites, apps, and devices using just your fingerprint. It uses LenovoId on the backend which supports signing in with your Google credentials. In summary, you can use your fingerprint everywhere and you don't need to remember an additional username/password for this since it just reuses your google login4. Wrist actions for Flashlight and Camera:You can make a chopping motion to turn on/off the flashlight (very useful in the dark). You can flip the phone once to open the camera (very useful if you want to open the camera in a hurry because you just saw something which you want to take a picture of)5. Picking up phone stops ringing:Very useful if you are in a crowded place like a meeting and forgot to turn your ringer off. No longer will people stare at you as you fumble to turn the ringer off while it keeps blaring "Bohemian Rhapsody" (or what have you). As soon as you pick up the phone, it stops ringing6. Flip phone down to enable Do-Not-Disturb:Amazing feature. Just place the phone face down and it silences all notifications/calls. Keep it back facing up to enable them again. No longer will you have to hope you silenced your phone in a meeting and no longer will you wonder if you remembered to turn it back on once you are on your way home7 Night DisplayYour screen automatically adjusts to a warmer blue light in the evening to prepare your eyes for sleep8 Moto SuggestionsIt gives you suggestions and tools to free up space on your device, hibernate power-hungry apps, etc.The Moto G6 Play has a 13MP camera on the back with an LED flash and an f/2.0 lens. I love that the camera has a lot of interesting features like:1. Front facing flashYour selfies can be taken effortlessly in low light conditions.2. Slow motion video and Panorama photos3 On screen adjustments for exposure/focus4 Camera screen touch functions for single/multiple shots, zoom, and exposureI like that Motorola and/or Amazon have not put a lot of bloatware on top of the phone (looking at you Samsung!) The display is edge-to-edge and looks amazing (look at the pictures); the battery is quite big. It supports rapid charging, which means if your phone is really low, a few minutes of charging will give you hours of battery life. It also has a headphone jack so you don't have to throw away the nice headphones you have due to the headphone-jack-free craze that is sweeping the smartphone market right now. The storage is a massive 32GB and can be expanded with a Micro SD card up to 128GB. The RAM is 3 GB which makes the system pretty responsive. The phone is not bulky and feels amazingly well made. It comes with a transparent plastic/silicon screen protector right out of the box. I have bought a more rugged cover, but the default protector should be enough to avoid any scratches. My older Android phone also had a Micro-USB, just like this one. That was one of the factors that made me go for this phone as compared to it's cousin, the Moto G6 (which has a USB-C plug). That way I could reuse all my charger cords around the house etc. like I had been using with my old phone. I also observed after getting the phone that there is no NFC support. If you have already transitioned all your cables to USB-C, battery life is not a huge concern, and NFC is a must-have for you, then you might want to look at the Moto G6 .

UPDAATE 3/38/2019 since putting my simcard back in my Huawei Elate, I have had no issues with text messages not going through. No issues with the speed getting to different sites and have not shut my phone down. I have been looking at the Moto g6 group for a yr. Bummed it didn't work out.UPDATE: 3/27/2019 I didn't want to immediately write a negative review without knowing for sure if the phone was an issue or my carrier (Mint -TMobile) Returning my phone. I have had to shut it down on a regular basis. internet is slow at times, not able to send text messages from my house, touch screen was not always responsive and my "scratch resistant screen" has little scratches on it and that is with a screen protector. The most annoying was having to shut my phone down several times in a week. I went back to my $60 Huawei Elate. Minus the storage and the camera I really didn't notice difference between the Moto G6 Play , my Elate and my j3 Samsung TracPhone. If you really want this phone, wait to see if the price drops and get the extended warranty. Mine may have been defective.I've had this phone for a few days and honestly was not super impressed at first but I am now pleased. I wanted a larger capacity phone without paying a fortune and this phone is sufficient. I refuse to pay $800-$1000 for a phone. Fingerprint is a nice but I am right handed but found myself using my left had more. I had my right finger scanned which made this annoying. I could have changed it but didn't. Pictures come out very nice but this is compared to a lower end phone.
