Good band for the buck
Has made driving days much more exciting. It is fairly accurate. I'd say +/- 5 yards on good hits. It is zero percent accurate on bad hits. My best guess is that it only measures ball speed and uses the loft you tell it your club has to make a calculated distance guess. It can't differentiate if you hit one pure or hit it thin. And it will tell me I hit one 150 yards that I bladed and watched it go 20 in the air. But, for the price and the accuracy on good hits it is well worth the price to me.

A Golf Helping Tool!
I wanted to review the Voice Caddie SC 200 Plus, but they are saying that they are limiting reviews of that product. This SC 200, was the original caddie that I purchased a couple of years ago, and due to my caddie getting submerged in a pond, I had to order a new one. That is why I purchased the Voice Caddie SC 200 plus. What you receive with the Plus, is the ability to just swing a club, and check your swing speed. You could not do that with the original SC 200. This launch monitor has the bells and whistles as the original, and have added this feature of checking your swing speed. I have found this to be a very helpful tool in obtaining golf swing numbers when you are practicing on your golf mechanics. The three modes of Practice, Target, and Approach, all add to the functionality of the launch monitor. Believe me, its not fun to just sit on the driving range without having some particular goal in mind with what you want to accomplish during your practice session. Not only can you check your swing speeds, but you can also see your ball speed, your smash factor, and your carry distance based on your swing speed. What this item will not do is let you know if you are keeping your arms straight, or if you are raising up off the ball. What I like about the SC 200 Plus, is that you can use it to measure your swing speed without hitting a golf ball. That is nice if you are wanting to practice just your swing at home, and check out the numbers as you are working on alignment, setup and positioning to the ball. This added feature was why I bought the Voice Caddie SC 200 Plus. My overall thoughts about this tool, is if you are wanting to improve your golf game, and don't want to shell out thousands for a Trackman, or some other expensive launch monitor, then the SC 200 Plus will provide you with a good starting place to tracking your golf swing.Having just bought the Plus model, I will attempt to offer an additional review in the future. Keep hitting em straight, and enjoy your GOLF!!!!!

it works fine, decent amount of fun
Yeah OK, it works fine, decent amount of fun. Not exactly dead on accurate, and tends to over-read my longer irons, it was telling me my 3 to 5 irons were going at least 7 to 10 yards more than I would normally hit them even with the range balls. And the thing doesn't have a setting for 1 or 2 hybrid. I use a 2 hybrid at 18 degrees in place of a 5 wood, so I set it to the 3H setting and adjusted the loft to 18. But it was definitely under-reading that, at least 10 yards on carry and total. So I actually went to the W5 setting and set that to 18 and that helped get the distance I would normally hit with that club. And the short irons are a bit haywire. By the way, I lazer measured every target with my Leupold as I always do when I get to the range before I tested SC200. And looking up and seeing where the balls are landing and rolling out, and checking on the SC200, the shorts clubs are all over the place, obviously having trouble reading some not-so solid shots. The solid, well-struck, clean hits, and I mean clean click-type hits, the machine would read perfectly, but as I am a digger, and giant digger no less, the machine was getting a bit confused. Turning the face shut or open also confused it a bit, it seems to like the face more open than shut at impact to give you a better reading. The driver setting also only goes down to 8.5 degrees, and I am using an 8 degree driver and sure enough it was giving me about 10 yards less. The sideways mishits would not be read by the thing, I tried to hit a few sideways on purpose, way away from the lined-up shot, and it wouldn't register. Also, if you try to hit softer shots with say, that hybrid, it was still reading almost as much as the full swing, which is strange. I was definitely hitting punch shots almost at ¾ hit but it was reading them only about 5% shorter. Of course you have to account for your location and wind too, don't forget. But overall, it's a fun device to have at the range, I will use it along with checking it with the lazer anyway, it makes the range session a bit more fun, which is always a good thing, to not make it seem like such a chore to hit a hundred balls.

Buen equipo.

Jury is stil out there
I seen it on TV and had to have it!! Is it over priced? I think so. It arrived on time. Used it inside for an hour and it worked without a hitch. Not sure if I like the concept yet. You don’t need a ball. It does the math based on swing speed and loft of the club your using to figure out distance. It has no idea if you mishit the ball which will affect yardage.

Not useful on the range
Great bit of Kit, easy to use and seems accurate. One point to make though, if you think you're going to take this to the range, think again. Range balls do not act like quality balls (obviously) and when testing this at the range it was at least 30yrds short on each club. To confirm I hit a couple of older pro v1's and they returned more accurate results. I now use this on the course when I go out for a practice in the evening.

excellent piece of equipment for players of all levels.
This is an excellent piece of equipment for players of all levels.I bought this for myself (hcp 12) and my wife (hcp 26).You get direct feedback on every shot.It changes a driving range session from hitting balls to a true working session without making it heavy or boring. On the contrary, the different training modes make it fun and challenging. My swing pace and timing is greatly improving. The metric that appears the most valuable is actually the smash factor which indicates how well you hot the ball in the sweet spot of your club. The main gain is consistency in the shot distance (while improving accuracy). Also great to see my (sceptical) wife sees value in using it.Rather than spending money on a new driver ( that will not improve your drives...!), get this. It’s cheaper than a new driver and brings way more benefits to your game.
