Q: How high must my ceiling be if I am 5'4" doing a workout routine that includes bouncing?

To play it safe, you're not going to bounce more than 2 feet so add 2 feet plus your height plus about 1 foot for the distance between the floor and the trampoline mat and the total should be the minimum height of your ceiling. Q: difference between petal and skirted?

Hello and Thank you for your question. The padded petal skirt available on other models offers acts as an extension to the surface for a wider movements and/or most especially for exercises that take you on and off the trampoline; for example, a sit-up, yoga, step aerobics, planking, etc. The skirted mat is a standard design and jumping is focused on the center inner-jumping space only.
