Pentax cable release p
This is a very nice attachment for my camera, it’s an automatic device that you are able to set for remote control for time lapse photography and similar uses

AAA batteries, not CR-2....
AAA batteries, not CR-2..... Don't believe the product description, the intervalometer takes AAA batteries which are supplied..... Otherwise, this is a fine device. I have several for Nikons in different packaging ...

Simple and functional
Using it with a Pentax KP for astrophotography. Sometimes simple is just the best way to go. With all the wired and wireless dongles hanging off the telescope mount and guider stuff a simple plug-in shutter control for the camera was all I wanted. Simple to understand and use with everything I needed at a reasonable price.I don’t particularly care for the low view angle / contrast of the LCD display rather than a straight-on view but it’s not hard to get used to. This is why I cut 1 star On the “ease of use”; it’s just a little hard to read the display at times. If they corrected the sight angle this would be a top-notch unit.

TM-PK1 straightforward and easy to use with Pentax K-70
I mainly wanted a cable release but the added functionality makes the timer a bargain. It will provide a timer for your shutter release, will take multiple shots (up to 399) at whatever interval you set, will make time exposures for whatever exposure length you want and works as a simple cable release.Instructions are clear but for those of us with glasses, it wouldn't be a bad idea to scan it and make a more readable copy.

Great
Didn’t know if these would fit my smaller tripod, but it fit various models of what I had. Fit perfect, and was a lot bigger than what I used to have.

Easy to use and dependable
The cord could be a foot longer but not really an issue

Handy Item
I was looking for a shutter cable release for my Pentax KP because I intend to do some long exposure photography. It exceeded my expectations. If you own a Pentax KP or K-70, it's a good item to put in your bag. It just does what is advertised!

It probably would work if..
I guess it worked OK but I never got to use it. Someone kept getting on my nerves and I snapped and choked them with it. The handle snapped off and I could t fix it.

Works well but the documentation's font is too small to read
The product does exactly what I want. The user manual is written in such a small font that I cannot see it without using a magnifying glass. I found an online version of the manual but it is generic and the pictures in do not match the unit purchased.

What exactly is "warmth" in a remote shutter release?
It's inexpensive, seems reasonably rugged. The instructions are poorly written; there's one mode I just haven't figured out how to use. BUT, it does what I purchased it for.

Great timer, works well with Pentax K70
This seems to be a great electronic shutter release cable and timer. So far I have used it successfully multiple times with my Pentax K70. I have yet to test the interval meter part but have no reason to doubt that will work well too. At first I couldn't get it to work, but with the help of great customer service from Magiccube I discovered I just had to re install the included batteries.
