Beautiful book. Went on to buy 3 copies one for my daughter, gifted for niece and nephew. All under the age of 5. Illustrations and compact descriptions are really thoughtful. Perfect for early teaching of sikhi & familiarising guru names. Timely shipping.

I was so disappointed with this! The concept was a lovely one, perfect bite size information for kids. Each page has the Guru and a section on 'His Teachings'- which is really nice. Then the 'Notable Incident ' - I haven't checked the rest, but I've literally had to cross it out for Guru Nanak- as it doesn't have any good message and I'm sure is factually incorrect. It says he adopted his friend and disciple Mardana as a sick baby.... this is ridiculous and serves no purpose. Where did they get this fact? Another story later also seemed to make no sense- perhaps a literal transcription was tried from old punjabi and it hasn't worked???. Either way such a shame, the story's I grew up with had a moral, which I thought would be in here.
