Living in South Florida where it is always hot, I need a cool pillowcase that doesn't hold in the heat like 100% cotton pillowcases do. These work great! The other heat contributor is the 3 dogs that sleep with me in the bed and of course there is always that 1 dog that has to sleep on my pillows when I am not looking. This means more heat to deal with and lots of hair, paw prints & suspicious smudges. Then there is my long hair to deal with and the makeup I missed cleaning off my face or totally forgot after a 12-14 hour shift. After almost a year, these have stood up & still look like new after multiple washes with Clorox bleach and as long as I fold them when they come out of the dryer or put them right on the pillows, no wrinkles. I think this is fantastic with all of the abuse these pillowcases get! I just got finished washing & drying the pillowcases & put them right back on my pillows I was so impressed with how they still look like new, I just had to write this review. PS, they are not scratchy, they are smooth & cool to the cheek!

There aren't many things in life better than getting a very good product at a bargain price. These pillow cases are exactly that. These cotton/polyester blend pillow cases are well made. The sewing is professionally done with attention to detail. The material is of medium thickness and not as soft as 100% cotton, but the advantage of this material is that you get the durability of a cotton/poly blend. This material is great for those who like a crispness to their bedding sheets. The white color is very white and not an off white. The size of the pillow case allows a little extra room to make it easier for a queen size pillow to slide in and out. These are made in China. Well made, great price. Thank you Amazon. Based on the description and the reviews, these pillowcases aren't quite as smooth as I expected. However, in consideration of the price for a pair, I can't say I am unhappy with them. They are perfectly functional, they are indeed wrinkle resistant when compared to 100% cotton, and they actually fit the body pillows we use between the bookcase style headboard and our adjustable mattress to keep stuff from falling off the headboard and down into the space created when the head of the mattress is raised. If I were sleeping with my head/face on the pillowcase, I would probably spend more for a softer one but these are fine for how we are using them.

I "double bag" my pillowcases (well, triple or quadruple, really). That means I put 1-4 layers of pillowcases on each pillow and then, every 2 weeks (when the housekeepers come), I remove and replace the top 1-2 layers. Every couple months I replace thrm all.For years I've used only standard sized pillowcases, so when I want to triple bag a king size pillow it takes 6 standard cases: a very inefficient system. As you can imagine, having the right sized tools for the job makes sheet changing MUCH better!Thickness and quality are as or better than expected. Better than Ross/ Marshalls/Walmart, less than Macys/Nordstroms. Perfect for layering under the pretty exterior case.

Bought these to tie dye at my granddaughters birthday party. What fun. They were a bit stiff out of the pack. Once they were washed they softened up. The kids had a great time and the pillowcases were a great take home gift for the kids.

Great cases

I don't have the time or resources to sleep on clean sheets every night, but I can sleep on a clean pillow case every night. I work outside and I have oily skin. Washing gets me only so far so I bought a set of 12 pillowcases. I can just flip the pillow after one night and I have a clean side on which to rest my head when I sleep. That way I don't get the oil or dirt back from the pillow on to my skin. After the second night, I just take off the soiled case and put on a clean one. It's better for my skin and I find that I sleep better.

We are fairly happy with these pillow cases. If I had any negative feedback, it would be that they are fairly wrinkled when they come out of the dryer despite trying several different dry programmes but otherwise we are happy.
