Great slimline post cage.
Bought this to stop my dogs eating the post. Well made, had to modify it to fit around the moulding on my plastic front door and it survived this perfectly. Slimline, allowing more space to open the door in a tight hall way. Easy to fit. Good product.

Needs extra brackets
There are only two screw fittings. The post gets pushed through and the basket can get pushed away from the door. The post then falls through the gap created at the bottom. It you fit it too low the post risks dropping over the top. Several items chewed by the dog even after fitting although it has reduced damage.

Excellent product. Easy to fit.

Nice and slim
We struggled to find a slim but wide enough letter cage. This is perfect. I removed one star as I had to use a couple of command hooks on the bottom as it was loose and the dog could get the post out. Worked a treat.

Good product, good company
I actually found this to be not quite deep enough to allow large items to come all the way through the letter box so I would recommend to go for one of the other avonstar models, I was able to change it directly with the seller/company very easily. As you might expect going for UK made product, delivery is quick, quality is good and any issues it’s really easy to contact the company and get it resolved. You pay a little more for all that but worth it in my opinion.
